i think the show could have given him a break. they took him for granted so much. glad he found Denise, but the group could have also developed into mature human beings. they of all people know what it is like to be left out or bullied or ostracized, and could have treated Stuart better given how he nice he was to them.

The other characters were not much better off. Amy was stuck with Sheldon even though she deserved better. Penny didn't want children, but Leonard wouldn't let her be childfree. Penny deserved her wish to be childfree respected. She was also a failed actor and waitress for a long time.

I was honestly happy he found Denise. She really matched his energy and they hit it off real quick. I always laugh when their at Sheldon's wedding and he impresses her with the SW movie fact then he put on that I'm the coolest dude in the room face

Honestly, I thought the time he deserved better was when Howard's mom died. Stewart was just as close to Debbie as Howard was and he was largely overlooked. Truthfully, I think they could have developed the Stewart character a lot more than they did.

Honestly, it’s kinda weird that he started as a bit chill and confident back in season 2 and then the actor saying I U off-script resulted in the Stuart that we all know and wanna hug. Though, he’s not without his creepy moments.

Despite most of the moments being played for laughs, I still empathised and sympathised with Stuart, having also struggled with clinical depression and anxiety issues. At least things eventually get better for him by the end.

You pretty much nailed all the moments I was thinking of but I was happy when he was with the woman he loved and Raj was still looking, at the end of the show. Raj said some pretty mysogynistic crap over the years.

When Stuart got the tan, and he turned orange. That box of Crayons joke, was pretty funny. If I were frosting a cake, and Penny was that rude to me, she’d have pink cake, all over her ugly green dress. Ha!

I preferred his character at the beginning. He was an artist with better self esteem. He was written as more and more of a sad-sack as the series went on.

Awww Stuart is a sweet guy. I always liked him and felt sad for him often. I liked that he became a main cast member in later seasons.
