I didn-t know anything about any of the Outlast games before watching this series and decided not to look into it until they finished. I just read the Wikipedia article explaining the game, and, even though I know parts were edited out for this series, I never could-ve guessed that-s what Outlast 2 was about. I still don-t understand what happened. I-m so glad Jeff and Simone played this game for us, and I-m so proud of them for completing it. I loved watching the series and hope they do another one together, but, my gosh, they need a break for quite a while. Bravo, and thank you for the laughs.

That bathroom sequence illustrates one of the biggest problems of the horror game - a game that keeps trying to build up the fear but there's never actually a consequence of course eventually stops being very scary, but what really kills the sense of fear much more quickly for me is a game that kills you over and over. Once I've died to the same thing two or three times and just had to try it again it stops feeling like peril and is just gameplay (and for most horror games, once the fear is gone, the gameplay is pretty dull. And a game that hits that point for me can usually never go back.

I know you guys are so happy to see the back of this series but I hope another Yellface comes out someday because Simone and Jeff's eventual utter defiance despite total fear gave me everything. Maybe a game where they can actually fight back and get some gratification?

I have loved watching Yellface probably as much as Jeff and Simone hated this game by the time they finished. Watching them go from terror to -can we just be done now- has brought me joy. sort of sad it's over.

Yes. Yes. Yes. I have been checking every day for weeeeks for this! And it didn't disappoint. Outlast 2 was truly a trash game. I'm so proud of you for finishing it. Can't wait for the next Yellface!
