I had a bookshop in Ohio wherein shelter cats were fostered and then adopted by customers. More than 50 were adopted from my shop over the years. I then wrote a series of novels about the experience (Shelve Under C: A Tale of Used Books and Cats is the first) to encourage other shops to look into fostering dogs, cats, rabbits, etc. The business that took over my location continued to foster, thankfully.

. What happened was. You pledged your forever love and companionship to Chester. He some how understood what you said and what you did. and with some luck, he got the will to live. Now he is passing it along to your new foster kittens. Boy, if his siblings could only see him now.

Not a foster fail, he needed you, you showed him a world of pussycats who just needed a smidge more empathy, compassion. Omg I'm in awe of your patience, determination, the love. Like caring for humans, we need to slow it down, realize we're all works in progress!

King Chester has grown up into a healthy adult! I love when he was grooming the other foster kitties and being a father figure for them. Thank you both for taking care of him and making him part of your family

Honestly i can't understand why this is caled a foster fail.
Seeing Chester caring for other kittens I'd call it a full success.
He's grown to a beautiful and calm cat and best of foster dad.
