I think it wasn't just the dog and her puppies that needed saving, this man is in great pain, living in a situation that degrades human dignity is not acceptable, especially in the richest country in the world. No. Electricity, no running water, when was the last time this man ate I think this man needs help urgently.
I am shocked when in the comments no one has compassion for this man, no one talks about his terrible condition, have we reached such a point of indifference, that we leave a man in such a catastrophic situation. In this world there are many very rich people, and also many people who live in conditions degrading to human dignity. This man needs a lot of help

So, the dogs were taken but the human living in squalor was left behind I'm happy on one hand, but we need to show each other compassion as well. I hope they got that person help. The dogs may have been the only thing keeping them company.

I'm glad for these puppies, but humans should have this kind of support when they live in squalor like that as well. It's certainly more resource heavy, but at the end of the day, sometimes all of us need a hand.

Who couldn't want to help this mama and her babies! She was smart enough to get help and this wonderful woman did just that! Audray found them good loving homes! Dixie now has a home too! Great News!

Excellent job! I’m glad she and her little pups got some help and were able to find new homes. Hopefully the previous owner was able to be helped also, tough to see someone struggling like that.

all the pups were healthy. That man who surrendered them obviously did the very best he could. I half hoped that he would get one pup in the end. He looked like he could use a friend.

thank goodness the owner was thinking about her and babies safety otherwise there are lot of people who would've just abandoned them on road or somewhere
