I remember this story, evrything was stacked against the rescuers bc they had to do a quick & dirty rescue bc the construction company told them they’d poison the puppies if they didn’t get them fast. Then I think they also dealt with the puppies getting really sick & having to be hospitalized for emergency treatment. So they now associated humans with all sorts of scary things, including invasive treatments that had to be done to save them. I also could be mixing up his other rescues but I’m pretty sure it was these puppies. I was following the story on Twitter & this is one of the rescues that really stuck out to me. The rescue really had the deck stacked aginst them with these pups but they did a great job.

Omg! I LOVE YOU SO MUCH FOR DOING WHAT YOU DO AND YOUR INCREDIBLE DEDICATION AND PASSION FOR GIVING THESE BEAUTIFUL BABIES A LIFE TO LIVE WHERE THEY WILL BE SO LOVED! I wish more people were like you! But, every person even if it’s just 1, makes a huge difference to someone! They remind me of my pup! They look just like my guy a little bigger

Its surprising how many people dont know, that to get an animal to trust you, you have to lay down flat on the ground to appear as harmless as possible. Sitting or standing, you are still 10x bigger than them.

Thank you for your patience, I personally never seen a dog that scared to just plain attack, but I’m glad they changed. It was because of your nurturing care and heart!
