its funny about Oz and its film rights - in the 80s they changed hands when Ted Turner bought MGM, then when he sold them a year later, he retained the film catalogue to that point (but not the United Artists Catalogue) including The Wizard Of Oz, and a few years later Ted sold out to Time Warner (Now Warner Bros Discovery) so they now own the OG film. its why you will get sequels but never remakes - Samuel Goldwyn of MGM bought the rights to only L Frank Baum's first book, Wizard of Oz and then Disney in the 1950s bought the film rights to the rest. Your video is inaccurate, as albeit they aren't 'sequels' to the OG film, they are official as Disney holds the film rights to all of the other books besides Wizard Of Oz. In other words, anything made by Disney from Return To Oz onwards are all official sequels to each other!

Return to Oz is my favorite movie ever and the most faithful adaption of the Oz books, combining books 2 & 3 with elements of the MGM movie. It’s fantastic, a lot of dialogue and visuals is straight from the books, and the music is all 1900 bandstand-style and period orchestration!

Suggestion here, watch the Disney 1993 movie The Three Musketeers and then the The Man in the Iron Mask from 1998. They were made by different production companies and are not meant to be connected, officially or unofficially. They do go well together.

Better than Jaws 4: the Revenge is such a low bar a centipede could jump it.
I feel sorry for whomever owns the Amityville house now. It's my understanding that they frequently have to deal with tresspassers hunting for ghosts.

For many years after I first saw 'Return to OZ' I questioned whether it really existed or not. It would be over 15 years later that I found it for my young, at the time, niece as she loved 'The Wizard of OZ' movie.

Awful sequels & films ever made. Especially about as bad as Kevin Hart films. I think Kevin Hart is unentertaining & really annoying (how & why does everybody thinks he is remotely hilarious or entertaining)

I was always fascinated by the movie Cruel Jaws (a. k. a, Jaws 5: Cruel Jaws, even though I've never seen it. It would make a great movie for a bad movie night, but it's definitely not a oscar-worthy movie.

I watched return to Oz maybe 10x as a kid but as an adult none of my friends seem to know what I was talking about and explaining it sounds like a fever dream so thank you for proving this movie exists

You forgot to include
Troll 2
American Psycho 2
Mean Girls 2,
Literally any movie that thinks it can get away with stealing a idea by calling theirs a sequel

Dirty Laundry is not fan made. It was part of bootleg universe by Adi Shankar, producer behind things like Dredd and the Castlevania series.

I enjoyed Return to OZ more than I did OZ: The Great And Powerful. While dark in tone, Return to OZ is a fun fantasy film to watch.

Return to Oz really terrified me as a child, as did Neverending Story. Who knew that kids' films could be traumatising
