The Planet of the Apes reboot is my favorite one, because, somehow, it fixed most of the issues the original film's sequels had.
Making a more consistent story, with well-written characters such as Caesar, Maurice, Malcolm and Koba, and they don't abuse the nostalgia factor, unlike other franchises.
Even the most recent instalment, Kingdom, surpassed my expectations, feeling that there's more to see in that universe even after 3 centruries.
And remember Apes. Together. Strong.

godzilla 2014 is crap, they cut away 12 times from the fights. King of monsters is better. but on a whole, the films aren't as good as the originals. Halloween 2018 is an abomination. not a reboot or sequel it IS a remake of Halloween II. planet of the apes, over-rated (original films are superior) the invisible man, utter trash, Hollow man is the better re-do.

Godzilla Minus One, The Thing, Scarface are far Better than Godzilla (2014, The Muppets (10011 which is a sequel) and Halloween (2018. Also Batman Begins deserves to be higher on the list than Spider-Man Homecoming.

I’m all for appreciating The Muppets for how great that movie was, but that is obviously a legacy sequel and not a reboot. It continues the story of the series.
