BANNED From China? Tibet Will Now Always Have Our Heart Boho Diary Travelling Tibet was one of those bucket list trips for us. Visiting the Holy City of Lhasa has always been something we were fascinated with. When we finally made it over into Tibet, Lhasa was the first stop and we were forced to recognize that sometimes our expectations are simply a set up to realize that we could have never prepared ourselves for this. The challenges were not only the altitude and the climate but simply being present in an occupied nation and seeing the kindness and hospitality of the Tibetan people even after all the oppression they still suffer through today. This really motivated us to share some light on their story. We had the pleasure of meeting his Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama last year (he was forced to leave Tibet in 1959 and had been living in exile in India ever since) and now returning to his hometown of Lhasa was almost like a completion of our own personal quest to understand a part of this incredible history. Although Lhasa didn't live up to our imaginative expectations, once we left and began to travel through the rest of Tibet, it was like we entered a magical story book. The nature, the animals, the people. Everyday it was a new page, a new experience, and a new adventure thus making Tibet one of the most beautiful places filled with the most magic and energy we've ever experienced

Have you ever talked to local Tibetans if they want to be part of China? No you haven't. I have many many, I mean many friends that I'm close with, they love China, they enjoy being stable and war-free. Why so many foreigners just go there and then suddenly you become experts of our culture and history? You would say do research? From online? From English websites where have many untrue stories about China? There are many people in Tibet wish Tibet is independent, that's true. But that's not majority. It's just like people from Alasaka wants to be free from the US, but is that majority? Is that really better for them? It's just so immature/unfair of you guys share and give people just one side opinion as the truth about Tibet/China. Way more white people are saying Tibet should be free than local Tibetans.

Thank you for shedding some light on the Chinese occupation of Tibet. Having personally met exiled Tibetans and hearing their stories (which include imprisonment, torture and other human rights violations by the Chinese, its a little disturbing to see a few comments on here from (presumably) Chinese people defending the occupation.

I consider it the nothing thats sweeping the planet. just like the never ending story. and its up to humans that join with animals and nature to shift the consciousness and energy and change the planet to something never seen before. a place where love rules not fear.

Tibet was part of China since the 13th century. I like your yoga videos, but please don't comment on political things. It's more complicated than you think. And do not always assume that as a westerner, you know the 'truth' and know 'what's right' or 'wrong'.

Perfect timing. With the Hong Kong protests Finally getting American attention. Meditating for sovereignty in Tibet, Taiwan, Hong Kong. The citizens of China, the organ harvesting victims. Chinese people need our help.

Beautiful video guys I'm always amazed how humans can be so wonderful and at the same time so awful But is that just the balance we have to deal with?

So sad that there is so much bad coming from China. Also they changed the one child rule. At least China banned Cancer Islam but let Tibet be free
