I'll give another perspective. Imagine you're a low paid office worker in Hyperblad India and you have to review a video in 2 to 4 minutes in order to reach your target. If you're unable to reach that target then it's down the corporate improvement path with meetings, training and increased scrutiny. They're training to look at specific things and flag them after the initial AI sweep and they'll skim through videos like robots. There's no time to think or consider, just flag or no flag.

Regardless of what any individual or entity sees as ok or disgusting, shouldn't it be each individual person's choice to decide what they want to eat There is a big push to put insect protein into our food, the question is, why If someone wants to eat bug protein they can add it to their food. But for the insect protein to be added to our food for us is just wrong and takes the choice out of the hands of the consumer.

I love it when us social media discriminate against anything that is not considered okay by mainstream Americans.
A lot of European content in English is deleted for being discriminatory despite often being the opposite, simply because American and western European moderators lack the cultural understanding to tell apart a reality, a joke and the fact that if you don't support something doesn't mean you're against it.

With regards to the massive volume of content alone, I think it is pertinent to note that that has been a problem for a very, very long time. If they really cared about it, they would have scaled up when they had the chance. As it is, they didn't, and now they have the responsibility to maintain that content with a high degree of discretion, but have shown that no, they just want the money, not the responsibility.

It's also possible that talking about eating insects might have gotten the video flagged as conspiracy theory content. That a conspiracy of the rich will force people to eat insects is a fixation among conspiracy theorists, and while I didn't read the comment section of the video it wouldn't surprise me if those conspiracy theorists were in there calling you paid propaganda and getting the video flagged

On the point of how drinking alcohol or eating unhealthy food wouldn't get you demonitized for incouraging harmful behaviour, but similarly potentially hazardous practices from other coulters would:
It's even more absurd, when you consider the fact that the very advert itself that may or may not be featured on the video, could literally be advertising alcoholic beverages.

Those cookie notices aren't actually required by the EU. You can use all the cookies you like without asking permission.
It's 3rd party (read: tracking) cookies that require the user to accept them, and instead of making that clear, companies throw them under one banner to hide that, which makes it seem like the EU law is crazy. Malicious compliance!

Here a comment for support because i find your videos important.
I'll put a like too.
Yesterday i got mad of society rulles not being perfect for my perfectly educated dog.
And now seeing this video i empathized.
It's boring that things have to change slowly and probably not be perfect in our genaration

Just thinking that perhaps the reason your numbers have dropped is because the nature of your videos have dropped. I came for the cooking videos and now tend to not watch your videos where you rant about body shaming while walking around, or about your fish, or about your home renovation

Adam, I’m almost certain that it was because you were steaming small animals alive.
If it wasn’t for already appreciating you, and knowing you aren’t a psychopath (although it has to be said, chefs often toe the line, I probably would have said, no, that’s enough and clicked off.

What is the most humane way to dispatch insects Obviously crabs and lobster can be done in a hot pan of water, however as it causes great stress and pain so it isn't recommended. You want it done as quick as possible, the water method probably is best therefore for bugs.

I would also note it's been a while since the last vegetarian-relevant video. That's a big reason why I personally haven't watched as many recent videos. Curious how many others are in that boat. More veggie friendly recipes and I'll be running back!

The FCC feels the need to censor TV shows, yet the completely unregulated internet has managed to censor itself far more strictly than TV. So remind me why we have government employees whose job it is to check how many times an hour an actor swears

Demonetized for killing a bug Like no one never smacked a fly, or a mosquito, or put a poison into ant nest that's too close of your home causing damage. So maybe they should demonetize videos where fly swatter is visible, because it's deadly weapon

Hey Adam. Just wanted to thank you for years of informative content beyond just being entertaining. Even when I rarely don't agree with you, you give me lots to think about and to reconsider and people like you I appreciate the most in my life.

It may have been the 'steaming live mealworms' or 'eating a cooked mealworm' thing, but I'm betting on it being the 'steaming live crickets' thing, where they jump all over the place and you manage to get at least a few of them in the pot.

I think the fact that they'll never tell you explicitly which policy you violated and how is a major problem. If they impose a penalty on your free expression, they should be required to provide evidence that you violated their policies.

Real shame your video got demonetized when it was showing perfectly safe practices. on the other hand, I'd love to see a tour of all your tanks and everything you showed in this one. are you doing aquaponics
