WHAT? 1: 30 in and they are talking about how they never crack an egg on the edge of the pot I always crack my eggs on the edge of the pan/pot whatever (how i was taught by mom) and I never pre-scramble my eggs (I call it a loose scramble. I didn't know i had so much confidence and talent, hahah, I just thought that is how it is done. Sometimes I do two eggs at the same time just to show off in front of friends, one in each hand with the single hand release of contents. Occasionally a little piece of shell gets in with the fancy moves. Pick it out and move on.

Gordon Ramsey does everything wrong, constant expletives but it tastes good. Emeril all show and lots of fun. BA just good cooking, not showy and cooking for the rest of us, with normal people. Blue cheese is moldy, but its tasty mold lol Julia child the quintessential chef.

I have Misophonia too Its not its own thing in the DSM5, if Im correct (although I could be off, I'm just a psych undergrad, not a graduate or a PhD) Misophonia is considered a type of and/or symptom of OCD, although there is also some discussion of a link to tinnitus.

I know I'm a filthy euro but no Jamie? Nigella? Rick Stein? Floyd? Man I watched the heck out of cooking shows on TV before there was internet: pIt would be funny to see the crew react to floyd these days, he probably didn't age to well: )

I remember watching Julia with my mom when I was like 5 or 6 back in the early 80s. She was the best, and I distinctly remember her episode on making omelettes. She made it look effortless but I found out the hard way I'm not Julia Child.

The old cut off the mold trick is false. The green stuff at the top is only 1% of the mold. Think of mold like a carrot with roots. You can cut off the green top but the bottom is still under there.

Im surprised that they didn't get to remark on the barefoot contessa's propensity for exorbitantly expensive ingredients. 'Couldn't find/afford a whole leg of jamon ibeirco? Store bought is fine. '

I know youre focusing on the instructional aspect of Master Chef but you cut off the best part of that episode Contestant overseasons with pepper and Chistina nearly dies (fake) coughing.
