Despite what people say about the host. I like watching the content itself but I'm a little bit disappointed with this video. Come on! 2 dishes (bullet train bento box and skirt steak) bought and eaten on a train? and 2 dishes (Beef sashimi and sushi roll) bought in a convenient store and eaten on a street? Those would be the cheapest of cheap wagyu (even in Japan) Would've preferred if the whole video was on Shabu Shabu or sukiyaki! Even okonomiyaki and modanyaki aren't proper ways to eat Waygu! 9 (actually delicious) ways you can eat Wagyu in Japan! 1. Shabu Shabu2. Sukiyaki 3. yukke gyudon (raw beef on rice) 4. Wagyu Donburi (Thinly sliced beef on rice)5. Steak 6. Teppanyaki7. Yakitori (skewers) 8. Burgers9. Sushi (proper wagyu sushi not store bought) Lift your game EATER!

true beef taste comes from the lean meat itself not the fat. Japanese wagyu is essentially creating as much fat(marbling) as they can so it tastes rich and creamy, but the fat creates a scent of disgusting flavor if you consume too much and over time the taste becomes too greasy and stale whereas the meat itself has that boundless flavor that keeps you overwhelming no matter how much you eat.

Kudos for going through all kinds of beef dishes! There is a famous beef bento at Tottori which was glorious and awesome. I'm actually surprised you even took on beef from a convenience store! Good on ya! Maybe you should have beef tendons (gyusuji. IDK if you're still in Japan but are you just covering beef? Because Japanese pork is also amazing!

Move to food to your mouth, not your mouth to the food. Even with chopsticks you could show at least some manners. Also, when you aren't in a dedicated place to eat, sit down and show some respect and gratefulness when eating. In consideration of the culture this video was taken, the host has very bad manners!

I feel like I'm the only person who enjoys watching Nick as a host. And from what I can gather, the comment section is full of jealous people with nothing better to do than be offended by someone doing their job. He isn't pretentious, he's using the correct terms.

Very interesting. I actually like that Nick ate some fast and even train wagyu instead of eating Michelin star wagyu the entire trip. It underscores the variety and availability. Many westerners associate wagyu with Kobe which is super expensive. Excellent video.

Odds are really low for it to happen, but Japanese copyright law allows a person to take down your video if they see themselves in it (even in the background) without permission. Next time, you should take the time out to put a mosaic over their faces.

I'm not an expert on Wagyu or Japanese cuisine, but are convenience store bought lunch boxes really one of the best ways to eat Wagyu? Makes me wonder if the host knows anything about food at all.
