Is Americas Most Expensive Korean Barbecue Worth It?

Eater LA Editor Matthew Kang visits Kristalbelli for a different and more luxurious take of Korean Barbecue. TG: Did a bit of reviewing online what people find of this place and the returning complaint is that it's quite expensive 30 plus for the bbq. I found the video quite presumptuous in your findings, I missed a lot of explanation like Nick does on his video's. It was almost a commercial for this place. I like Korean food a lot but I would never pay these prices (found on Yelp) for such a humble experience, I agree with others here it's just a gimmick and will only last so long.

I cant believe people are still saying that none sense sear it to lock in the juices lol, steak is not a water balloon, the flavor isnt going to pour out of it. Especially a dry aged steak. As for massaging the cows, they dont even do that in Japan. They keep them in very tight places so the cow cant walk, so it doesnt really build to much muscle and stays very tender. Shes just giving a typical sales pitch. :/

Looking at this video for the third time, I am still puzzled. They Really, Really need to go to Korea and see Hanwoo cuts Marbling. I mean, this meat on the video is lesser quality than the 4th grade(meaning there are 3rd, 2nd and 1st grade)Hanwoo in Korea. To say the corn fed beef cut is better than grassfed beef is such an idiotic perspective. Deception continues.

Y'all completely overestimated her cuteness. I felt her obligatory narrative feigning attractiveness and interest really detracted from her overall appeal. But hey, comedians, they're sometimes weird and don't get it right, so I could be wrong. Or, you guys spend more time on YouTube than in life. The LC

I like eating my KBBQ in a loud ass, packed restaurant with a friendly yet rude waitress. I like my meat succulent, non-pretentious & cut with scissors. Korean BBQ isn't meant to be luxurious. It's primal and communal. What a delusional way to force their own personality onto something! Ha

This guy clearly isn't going to honestly say any of this food is less than stellar with that cute babe that works there sitting right next to him. It's a nice demonstration, but for a video title asking if it's worth it, it's clear he's not giving it an unbiased assessment here.

American wagyu is much different from the original Japanese Wagyu. You havent tried real Wagyu until you've tried Japanese Wagyu. The biggest difference appearance wise, is that the Japanese Wagyu has more marbling, almost over 50% is all fat and it literally melts in your mouth.

Couple things here: steel is harder than crystal so that knife is definitely scratching the surface, and steel has a higher latent heat capacity than crystal so it is inherently a better cooking material.

bs gimmick. if your a smart person this is so obviously bs. wagyu? really? there are less than 10 restaurant in the us serving real wagyu. such bs. and the ceramic grill another marketing bs. lmao

the grill and meat, all other k town restaurants used then discard because of maintenance and burns the meat. this is perfect example of what over hyped publicity looks like. shame, shame.
