There are more to Haitian FRITA'I my friend. Of course fried pork/griot is the king of frita'i but you need the fried goat/tasso, fried chicken, fried fish, fried sweet potato, fried breadfruit or even fried beef and don't forget the two acras, the blackeye peas acra and the malanga acra, the fried dumpling and the ever famous pickilies.

no, new orleans food is not like haitian food. it is like west africa food, like haiti's is. and most of the slaves that landed in new orleans came senegambia, nigeria, benin area, not angola. this guy is a bit ignorant. he should stop with the pseudo history lessons.

Why the hell can't Nick LET THE OWNERS TALK and shut up and listen. I think what people dislike most about this guy is that he's pompous and arrogant, dude can't let someone else talk for a change without putting unneeded two cents in smh.

Just started watching the video, but the greatest thing was the correction of the pronunciation of New Orleans. As a life long Louisianian, nothing bothers me more than when people say the name of this amazing city incorrectly!

This chef has star potential lowkey. knowledgeable, hip, and serving up food alot of Americans haven't even tried unless you are in NYC or Miami or NOLA maybe. Hope to see more of him

I have to try that sandwich. I've always made a makeshift sandwich with my fried plantains, griot, and pikliz. But that looked waaayyy better.
