LOL. What is it about FOREIGNERS that makes them DARE to compare their NASTY-& food to ours. Filipinos come to this country BECAUSE IT IS THE BEST THAT THEY CAN POSSIBLY DO in providing for THEMSELVES and their FAMILIES; and yet THE MINUTE they STEP OUT OF THEIR 3RD WORLD COUNTRY, and into THE WORLD'S PREMIER SUPER POWER(U. S, they begin to COMPARE things. WHY? First of all, you would have to be on CRACK to believe that jolibee's chicken is in the SAME LEAGUE with POPEYES. The only person that would say such a thing is a Filapino. The ONLY thing in the Philippines worth even mentioning is their WOMEN & their COCONUTS.

the first jollibee in california was in daly city and i remember driving from glendale (los angeles) just to eat spaghetti, chicken joy and peach mango pie, not to mention the free refills of soda and have a picture with the mascot. years later a location opened by westfield mall in eagle rock which was like a 3 minute drive from my house and it was convenient as target, goldilock's, chowking, seafood city for groceries, lbc, lhullier for money remittances and macy's are in the same complex.

I'm from the Philippines myself and I didn't realize what a popular restaurant Jollibee is over here in America. I have never been to one before because there's none nearby. Although, back in 2006, the restaurant that my favorite cousin had taken my brother and I to lunch was a place called Max's of Manila, which served delicious Filipino-style fried chicken just like the kind you'd get at Jollibee. I hope to one day try out their food.

Im seeing a lot of older gentlemen (and women) working in jollibee in american videos so now im askin why aren't the Philippine branches of jollibee not hiring older people? Always young. Here where im from jollibee floors walls etc are dirty and tables and chairs are sometimes dirty and tables are unbalanced and stuff. I think if older people are hired they would be much more hardworking thus making jollibee a better franchise

I hope Jollibee will not define Filipino food. It saddens me when travel food host would go to this restaurant and treat it like some sort of unusual food which it is not. When Anthony Bourdain gushes on the street food of Vietnam or Thailand, I get really envious for these cultures have so much to offer besides fast food. Would you bring a travel host to McDonalds if you are trying to introduce him to American food?

Don't hate me on this. I don't think these guys were Americans. The video is about why Americans like Jollibee. So they should've gotten Americans to eat the chicken joy right? I am a Filipino and I think those guys are Filipinos too. I think getting Americans for this video would add more validity to it. Ps. I'm actually making a case study about different food chains including Jollibee. So yeah.

Tried Jollibee's fried chicken in Manila. Not as good as KFC or Popeye's. Wasn't impressed. I think their strategy is to get people hooked as kids, and thereafter crave that taste experience as adults, as nostalgia or as a taste of home when living abroad. Similar to how Tim Horton's can do no wrong in Canada.

I guess they change the name of some of the foods for the US market. My favorite is always the macaroni soup which I dont think they have in the US. My go to meal back home in the Philippines is the chicken with spaghetti. Then I will usually get a side order of the macaroni soup

When your mom cooks better filipino spaghetti, you never really need to go to Jollibee for that. Still, it has been ages since I've been there. The only thing I wanna try again is the mango pie, aloha burger, and the fried chicken (Chicken Joy.

Meh, I tried it a few days and I don't think it's worth the price lol, sure the pineapple juice was good (just sugar tho imo, but a plain chicken burger for 6, hell no. There's so many better places in Houston that I could get better and cheaper food for.
