Lucas, Lucas, Lucas. you were so out of it this episode. Were you out partying all night? Recovering from a bout of sickness? Or just plain unenthused about the restaurant's food? Either way, you seem less chipper than normal. But man, the whole bread mask cracked me up. You know what works great? Contacts. I never knew why people kept tearing up around me over the years when chopping onions until I were glasses while chopping them one time. Whoa!

Another restaurant I have walked by innumerable times, and just never gone in. For those who go to San Francisco, there are some extremely interesting boutique hotels which ring Chinatown, and even my favorite which is just inside Dragon Gate. Not fancy, but clean and well run, and less expensive - and you get to walk around one of the most interesting parts of the City - and one which literally runs all day and night!

This video inspired me to find this place and I was originally intending to go on my birthday but they closed early. I finally went there today and it was absolutely incredible! Service was good, food was unbelievable! I highly recommend all their teas, the soup dumplings, and the pot stickers. This place has been number one on my list of places to eat since I first saw this video and it did not disappoint!

if youre ever in saskatoon Saskatchewan, go to the manderin! best dim sum ive ever had and theyre so nice there. my family has been going there my whole life and i have yet to find another dim sum place thats better. their pork buns are amazing and literally my favourite food. they also do sticky rice that has pork mixed in, im not sure if thats standard dim sum sticky rice but its awesome.

Just got back from Guangzhou and Hong Kong and the steamed pork buns were made different the six places I went to. It looks closer to the Shumai shown. like 3/4 pieces of dough around the pork filling with sometimes a little bit of filling showing at the top. Tried chicken feet and the flavor was good but I wasn't crazy about the texture.

We tried it based on this video, it was OK but I will not go back. Customer service was less than average, a family actually got up and walked out because nobody was helping them out after 30 minutes at the table. We didn't get some of the dishes we ordered either so pay attention to the bill. Not the worst but nothing to write home about.

Never tried the bread trick. lol. O_O Personally, I think the real trick is to have a super-sharp knife. I might have to do with not crushing the onion, but just slicing through it! Like you get bruising on fresh herbs and their juices end up on the cutting board if you're not careful/don't have a good knife.

Sorry, this is the worst chinese restaurant in Chinatown period. I am a SF born chinese native and tried it a year ago. The wonton were not house made but tasted like ones that are imported from China. Do not go there. The day I had lunch there, no chinese people all business white people, I should have walked out.

I'm so sorry but I was there last week and the food was horrible. Food didn't come right away as mentioned and it wasn't busy to be so slow. My chicken feet was old, there was a lot of stuff that they didn't have. All this was pre organize to make it look good on the media. I'm disappointed.
