Jae Bu Do in LA is the number one spot for seafood and Korean barbecue lovers. Watch as Eater editor Matthew Kang and Dining on a Dime's Lucas Peterson share an enormous seafood feast, featuring every critter under the ocean. Razor2112: Listen to that Korean dude spew his racial hatred of Japanese cuisine, these Koreans just can't stop it. LOL! I've been to JBD, it actually in (North) KoreaTown, somewhat ghetto. I'd rather just go to the island in which the resto is named after.

Best way to each Abalone-Go to Cali and find Abalone spotsDive and catch big onesWhen ready to cook, remove from shell and slice into big centimeter slicesTenderize with a big rockMelt an entire stick of butter in panFry abalone and add Everglades seasoning (either original, cactus dust, or salt and pepper works too, steak seasoning too)Once nice and cooked, freaking dig in.

How's this for a pretty obvious series: Dining on a Benjamin give Lucas an expanded budget for ONE season and see what he can do with it. It's pretty impressive what he does on a dime. I want to see fancy Lucas and what he eats.

i'm sorry but, even though i'm korean i gotta say lucas peterson is the best host on eater for sure. his knowledge of food & cuisine and articulation is definitely far greater than most all other hosts out there. gj guys!

Lucas is the MVP. Get rid of the fat guy. We don't need some person so proud of korean food to doit. Lucas is still Asian and obviously knows his stuff. Drop the fat guy and save the salary and maybe get a hot girl host

It's thoroughly interesting to me that as unscripted and silly as this video gets at times, it is still exponentially more watchable, informative, and descriptive than the Cult Following videos.

You can have a lot of fun with the Japanese especially with food. What you don't seem to understand the seafood is so good in Japan you don't need to cover it with a bunch of extra shit.

a collab between these two needs to happen every so often. its refreshing when you see familiar faces teaching overs about different things. Love that moment at 1: 03 LOL

I'm begging Eater for Lucas and Nick in a same video. I want Lucas to have some dry aged meat to see his Maillard reaction all over his face.
