In Japan there are places where outsiders aren't allowed and only Japanese customers are entertained. Which is something I detest about Tokyo people but this guy here is literally bringing the authentic Japanese culture all the way to the big Apple! Lucky people of new York! I'm gonna visit someday! Proabably kiss a white girl in times square like that old photo!

These japanese chefs likes to play with food. with intense showoff to make it expensive. in the end they serve it raw. it's totally tasteless with hardly any aroma they worked hard for. whenever u gulp their food u always need to imagine their culture and Animes to make it worth. lol it's real. looters with show of lunatic chefs

That is probably the largest octopus I've seen used for serving/eating. Usually an octopus that big is going to be tough and chewy. Probably why he takes the massaging so seriously. That's a giant god damn tentacle. Looks so cool tho.

I actually dislike oriental food but the way this man goes about food and everything, makes me want to go and try his hardworking food. And even if I didn't enjoy it, I'd pay double the cost for his work ethic. Very admirable!

Great video! One minor correction, however. New York is just as sultry/humid/muggy as Kyoto. The only difference in the climate between the two is NYC's somewhat colder winters. Otherwise, they're the same climate.

Soon he will understand how to make a profitable business and his passion to old style accurate cooking as well as octopus massaging process will gradually fade away.

I don't flex on AirPods or Gucci anymore, I flex on eating massaged octopus. Edit: now that I think about it, this joke ain't even funny. .. yikes.
