i would really really love this show if she tried to figure out ways to make the gadget work better, because i don't think it matters if a gadget is great at what it does in this situation, if it simply DOES what it's supposed to do, then maybe you can make it better pretty easily. Like i'd have done a little research ahead of time, and i bet you there's probably another one of those little stands you can buy on amazon or something that'd bring the plate even closer to the element. would that make it better? I wonder. Also, if it's the plate that is actually being heated and then cooking the meat. what if instead of piling everything into the middle where the thermal ray is concentrated, you actually spaced the meat out a little more because then the plate can get hot in places there is no meat and you can move the meat to those places over and over till the meat is cooked? I'd like a little more depth to these reviews because they're really cool and i like seeing whats new and helpful in the home cooking world.

Esther is really objective and that make her a very good reviewer. As for this Zaigle thing, it became a really hot product in Korea because, per their marketing strategy, they were placed in all the popular K-dramas. The company probably made tens of millions of dollars in just a couple of years. However, most people found it very disappointing too for the same reason Esther is disappointed in the video.

OK something I've noticed: Why is the entire video mirrored lol. The text on her sweatshirt is mirrored, the labels on the cans in the background are mirrored and yet. the giant Eater E decoration in the background is the right way around. Eater, is the E in the background actually backwards in the non-mirrored video? LOL

I dont like this cooker. The heating element is in the way. It will get food smoke and vapor within it and smell up where you store it. If I were her, I would have put the whole unit on top of newspaper and have it spread out to see how much spatter to expect. I bet its a lot. Sorry, I just dont think this is a good design

Its essentially a radiant heater like a broiler or space heater but the problem is that our hands are constantly getting the way of the heat source and the flat grill surface does not remain consistently hot as the thing you are cooking is also getting in the way of the heat source. Its a terrible concept and execution.

This is a good substitute if youre dying for cooking meat ect tableside but you miss the whole flavour point of the meat juices hitting the charcoal and creating that bbq taste. Its like cooking a burger on a George Foreman grill. its still a burger it just doesnt taste right.

I have that same grill and it works great for me here in Korea. Sometimes it gets too hot and starts charring too quickly when cooking galbi ribs. Perhaps its a difference in voltage power? My grill is configured for 220V and assuming shes testing it out in the US, hers is 120V.

Funny. That's exactly what always happens to me on a regular (electric) stove. first sizzle like crazy and then suddenly all the meat is swimming in its own juices. and this happens on different stoves. I never seem to be able to fry a steak or even minced meat. Just boils and dry out.

i visited my parents the other day and they brought this out - it was actually pretty legit lololol as far as cooking kbbq indoors, it does the trick with oil splatters & smell/smoke, but if you're looking for a do-all kind of gadget, i'd stick with a butane burner

To improve this content it would be better to have someone who actually knows how to use the gadgets come in and demo them. This whole series feels like something thrown together to give the host, whom a senior exec is banging, 5mins of fame.
