He is telling a lie that his sushi is Kansai style. But the sushi he served was edomae style. Traditionally, Kansai area didnt have that kind of sushi. Pushed Sushi is Kansai style actually. He must have used to be an actor wannabe but end up making money in us by pretending to be chef although he had never experienced learning to be a chef in JapanHis foods may be OK but That is not Japanese foos but Japan-ish food but I admit that it is ok enough for American.

Some of the Sushi chefs I see in youtube videos intimidate me, they seem so stoic, so traditional and refined to the point of being just a tad scary- but this fellow gives off such a friendly warmth! I would not be too intimidated or scared to eat at this chef's restaurant, he seems like such a kind person and yet also very professional.

He has a great, fun vibe; but you can tell he takes his work seriously. Lightly dusting fresh grated wasabi off into that bowl of noodles and then seeing it made my mouth water. His dishes look simple, but there's an elegance to them. Just amazing.

He's awesome! Also I don't know why he spoke in Japanese so much because his English is actually very good albeit hard to understand without the subtitles just due to his accent. Cool dude for sure and his food looks delicious.

Akio Kobori was not only pretty well known, he still is today as a matter of fact, now i that he stated it i do see resemblance as well, to think legend is grandpa of other legend, this makes me actually happy.

I stayed a week in Kyoto and then a week in Osaka. Let me tell you that regardless of how close together they are, they are waaaay different. He's entirely not lying. Lmao. Osaka is crazy by comparison.

This is so confusing, as there is literally a top Japanese sushi restaurant called Omakase. I keep going into this trap over and over thinking I'm gonna see the sushi chef from that restaurant.

Yoya is like one of the coolest dudes! His friendly and joking personality remind me a LOT of Miyavi. Like they could be cut from the same stone. I think they're both so cool.

Yo isn't this the guy that used fish sperm and stuff in his sushi and watched American people enjoy it and then crap themselves after they found out what it was
