In my opinion this Patrick Brown, has evolved to the point where he is now going to make himself and his species extinct. This video is absolutely ridiculous. Why? Because it allows this Pat guy to say his opinion as fact. He provides no proof for his opinion, and the interviewer doesn't request any data to backup what Pat is saying. It is a one sided view, in order to push one or more agendas. I will never eat your processed burgers. This is another attack from the brainwashed climate change freaks. Why freaks? Because they are control freaks. Communists. They label all of the human activity on earth as bad, so that new rules can be put in place in order to control the people. New taxes, retrofit vehicles, retrofit houses, retrofit buildings, enforce what we eat. etc. To all these arrogant creeps, I have something to say. You cannot control people the way you wish to, regardless of what you do. People will always wake up and will always revolt. Even for hamburgers. Climate will always change by the way, regardless of your efforts. If you think you are observing rapid changes, with more intense frequency, look to God. He predicted this will happen, because He wants it to happen, because we have forgotten Him. If everyone followed Him, we wouldn't be talking about climate change, and other nonsense. So stop with your arrogance and put on some humility. I am not trying to control what you do, or eat so you do not do that to me.

I am going to find the ultimate burger recipe that is going to taste like beef. I think it's all the spices making it taste not like beef. When people make a burger they may grind up bacon and bell peppers onion garlic minced and add it to the burger salt and pepper and that's all I think that's everyones biggest mistake adding herbs spices etc it takes from the beef flavor. There is also a vegetarian beef broth type seasoning missing. Like I said I'm going to keep watching everyones mistake and keep trying to figure out a great fake beef burger recipe. With the above and real organic lettuce real organic tomato organic or regular pickles whichever one tastes like a real pickle. I truly believe we can have organic items like pickles that taste like real pickles and are organic. Plus mayonnaise to taste like organic mayonnaise real ingredients to make mayonnaise using organic eggs and organic oil organic etc. ketchup that tastes like ketchup. Thousand Island dressing organic to taste like thousand island dressing. one day. wire club. Com chat name searchonglostfrndaskMisspelled my chat name and sent it to Late couldn't change it.

So if they continue to stop the release of carbon into the air they ain't going to have any plans, there is a reason why plants need carbon. The Earth isnt dying! people are killing the animals they killed the bird so the birds can eat the fish they kill the seal so the seals can eat the fish. When we are more than capable of farming our food which is absolutely the same as being wild. It's a matter of choice to the idiots who want to use the excuse to exert power over the people. That's why they fired the woman who is watching the polar bearsdoing well because they didn't like that she let the world know that the polar bears were fine and the Buffalo who were making their own ecosystem they didn't like that either. And scientists have discovered that there is a gene in trees that can remove two times the amount of carbon from the air. But if he told that to the people they would have a conniption fit because then they couldn't screw the people through taxes for the green deal which is a fake in the first place. Mother nature knows exactly what she is doing.

They had to change from wheat to a 'more available, cost effective' product. That means cheap 'intensive farmed' for the same square meter. So a monocrop. Which is intensive plant copping with high nitrogen fertilizers, machine harvesting and pesticides. If they are using organic fertilizers, then they are using animal manure. which means cows or it means chemical. Let's eat whole, organic, sustainably farmed products. They are happy to get the business from Hungry Jacks/Burger King! Lastly, I'm sure Impossible don't want to be grouped with chemical monocrop farming just like sustainably farmed, grass fed and finished beef doesn't want to be group with intensive animal farms.

I'm a sucker for environmentally friendly product. And plastics is one of the worst things right now for earth. I've been looking around for information about these impossible meat packagings, believe me when i said that i couldn't find a single thing about it which leads me to believe that it is not a biodegradable plastic. It's just sad that nobody's talking about how it is packaged. If a company really care about the environment and set it as their most important goal, they should spare no effort and pull out all the stops to be fully environmentally friendly because they totally could and the technology is already available right now.

this dude said cows are the most invasive species besides humans. I'm from Canada and I know the South parts of America have wild boar problems because they're actually invasive and destructive. Cows do take up a good amount of water, space and food but so do humans and any other animal we farm. I'm all for meatless things but don't act like it's gonna fix the problem, so much meat get's wasted that if we stopped growing in excess and only what we need then farming meat wouldn't have such a negative impact and the quality of the meat could be better, healthier and more affordable. (companies lose less money from waste)

Executive chef by trade. It's good, but it's certainly not meat. The closest reproduction I have tasted to date, but worth the added cost? In my opinion, no. Plus you have to keep in mind this really only capable of replicating ground beef. There are just so many other cuts that offer so many other flavor and texture profiles. It's certainly a fantastic option if you're a vegan/vegetarian who is craving a burger in regards to flavor. There does seem to be mounting evidence pointing to this being a less healthy version of protein however.

When these came out I was kind of eager to try them. Then I saw the PRICE as well as the misleading packaging. a large package, looking as if it held at least a pound of patties, for a ludicrously high price. It was a little difficult but I finally found that the package only held TWO patties; I think that's deceptive packaging. I refused to buy the stuff. It's clear to me that these guys didn't create their product as a public service, but it's just another get-rich-quick scheme fed by hyped advertising.

His problem isn't with cows. its with industrialized beef. If the USDA shut down the industrialized beef business it would solve the problem. You can't solve the climate problems with chemistry and soy beans. All this guy is doing is replacing one industrialized food system with another. When 100 of millions of buffalo roamed the mid west plains where all these soy beans are grown we didn't have a climate problem so I don't think its the cow thats destroying the planet.

The conversation was never if its healthier or if its generally better. The conversation is can we make something that is equally flavorful and environmentally helpful & thoughtful (not killing animals or using animal products. Its using things that environmentally will be around for way longer than any animals we use due to climate change. The optional factor is the factor that we have to take an account of and note of. Because if they dont try, nobody will.
