I always wanted to make cheesecake but sour cream seems to be a fundamental ingredient and apparently it doesn't exist outside USA. when I saw you had a video about it I immediately thought -If she lives in Italy and is making cheesecake she must be using ingredients available in Italy! Finally! - and then I read the description and find that damn sour cream. -And finally I see that you use greek yogurt so it seems I've been able to do it all along. I wish I had found this video two years ago when you posted it.

Woow, it looks perfect! Thank you for sharing! I'd like today try your recipe for my husband's birthday, but I was wondering if the ingredients also apply for American ingredients. I see you live in Italy, and from my experience European sugar tastes sweeter than American, and also the cream cheese is different. When I visit my family in Europe and bake, I have to watch the sugar amount based on US recipes not to over sweet.

I just found you and I am completely in love with your videos! I just finished making a vanilla cake and the buttercream frosting, so I was just waiting for my cake to cool off and decided to see what could make my frosting better, and I clicked on your video and omgeeeee! Hi Emma, that is one good looking baked cheesecake! Not sure I've seen one looking as great as this before. Not even a hint of crack or any sagging (unlike some pics of your friend, Christina, that I can think of; ). Definitely going to have to give this one a go - genuinely, this looks like an amazing recipe!

Hello Ms. Emma I just made the cheesecake and it is out of the oven it looks delicious and a million thanks to you for the recipe. But I have a little problem, it is brown on top! It looks like a cake actually, did I do something wrong, maybe the oven was a bit too overpowered? If you can please answer me!

Thank you Emma! -Just put my this cheesecake in the oven -I used vanilla bean Greek yogurt instead of the sour cream I didn-t add the flour. -I test tasted the before adding the eggs this is so Good and defiantly add the lemon zest-Can-t wait until I can taste it cooked and chilled tomorrow!

Just made this. I think your spring form is much smaller than mine. My cake is only like 2 cm tall. My spring form is about 25 cm. Anyway, it's in the fridge now. Can't wait to try it tomorrow. Hope you're having a good time in NY.

Emma, another excellent video with perfect explanations of how to do a project correctly. What size is your springform pan? I used this recipe in a 9 inch pan and it was no where near as tall as yours.
