I haven't tried your receipt yet. But all my previous receipts that are homemade cakes always comes out dense. Is there something I am forgetting? I am not a baker I just enjoy baking for my family. And the homemade receipt I used were from the internet. Any advice to make it softer?

I've been searching the net for a good frosting, been into the vegan community and read about their frostings with coconut oil etc. But no. I've found my frosting now. I'm making yours, Emma. Thank you! --Edit: OMG! I saw you included the meassurements in grams! I LOVE YOU NOW, EMMA!

Hello to everyone and Miss Emma. Just wanted to say that I made this yellow cake with the 1minute frosting. The results are amazing! My mother and sister loved it. Half the cake is gone in one day. Thank you for sharing. I greatly appreciate your time, patience, and efforts.

Im making this cake as we speak! I have been dying to find a recipe with a nice yellow cake that isnt too fluffy or to dense. I hope this one works out well for me. Thank u Emma! Also, what size pans did u use? This recipe was enough for a 8- single layer cake

This is the best cake from scratch Ive ever had! The lemon zest is genious together with the coconut oil this packs a lot of flavor into a delicate crumb. The only adjustment is increase by one third so this delicious beauty is taller. A keeper!

Hi Emma, I want to make this for my birthday tomorrow but I'm wondering why you don't use baking soda in the recipe? Other recipes seem to. Just wanted to check on that! Also is soaking the cake with the vanilla milk necessary? Thank you!

I love eating these cake. It's good not knowing how much sugar was actually in it. Omg 400g powdered sugar! I know I know that's what makes it taste so good but is there a sugar free version? (Asking innocently) Lol -
