Learn how to make a Rack of Lamb with Strawberry Mint Sauce recipe pmcnamara1954: Being a lamb aficionado, I would only change one thing here. Instead of a strawberry sauce with mint, I would make a bright green mint sauce with strawberries. For the sauce, prepare the strawberries and mint separately: STRAWBERRIES: DICE strawberries with lemon zest, lemon juice, salt, cayenne and honey as shown. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate. MINT SAUCE: Strip mint leaves from a couple of bunches of supermarket mint, and place half in a blender. Add equal parts salt and sugar (adjust to taste, because we're cooking here, and enough seasoned rice vinegar to allow the mint to be blended into a slurry when the blender is powered up. Once the leaves and three basic preservatives (salt, sugar and vinegar) are liquefied in the blender, slowly add the remaining mint leaves--scraping the mint slag down the side of the blender to rejoin the slurry--until the viscosity is about like that of ketchup. Scrape into a bowl and set aside until ready to plate. PLATING: Make the little pool of green (absolutely uncooked) mint sauce, and spoon a perimeter of the almost savory strawberries around the edge. Place your lamb rack. and. ENJOY

High rising terminalFrom Wikipedia, the free encyclopediaThe high rising terminal (HRT, also known as upspeak, uptalk, rising inflection, or high rising intonation (HRI, is a feature of some variants of English where declarative sentences end with a rising-pitch intonation. Empirically, one report proposes that HRT in American English and Australian English is marked by a high tone (high pitch or high fundamental frequency) beginning on the final accented syllable near the end of the statement (the terminal, and continuing to increase in frequency (up to 40%) to the end of the intonational phrase. [1] New research suggests that the actual rise can occur one or more syllables after the last accented syllable of the phrase, and its range is much more variable than previously thought.

I love just about all vids you put out mate but this one ain't selling too well for me. I can be cool with chocolate or blueberry in sauce for main dishes but strawberries and mint with pretty much nothing but the meat served to it just seems like a very unbalanced or incomplete dish. Granted you did make use of the lemons but I still have doubt regarding that combination. I personally would have made use for some balsamic vinegar instead with some rosemary. Also before anyone starts telling me to try it before judging it - I still have an opinion and imagination enough to tell what I feel wont work well for a dish.

A little late with this recipe. I just had rack of lamb for dinner tonight, but I sous vide it instead. I could have tried this recipe because I have all the ingredients, but it's too late now. lol On a side note, I ate some leftover homemade mac and cheese with it using your recipe. I just used a mix of gruyere, sharp white cheddar, and some home smoked cheese. Turned out amazing I had to make enough for 40 people and your recipe scaled up very well.

Very nice. Try pounding a paste of something like cumin seeds, mustard seeds, fresh oregano, peppercorn, salt, fresh rosemary, garlic, olive oil, turmeric. It tastes wonderful and I think this sauce would work well with it -- I think I will try that: ) Lamb seems a little overcooked: P For those of you that think that is not cooked enough, don't eat lamb. Ever. You have been banished.

I really preferred your old voice. It sounded much more natural. These waves of high-pitched inflections and irregular pace are awful and unnerving. People who follow your videos are wondering why you are trying this new voice. Is this a marketing technique? Did someone tell you your old voice sounded boring? Are you bored? Why? Please go back to old voice.

so ridiculous how many people don't know how to properly eat meat. ITS NOT RAW if you cook ANY red meat (beef or lamb) more than medium you are ruining it. A good cut of meat should NEVER be more than medium rare. Many great steakhouses will ONLY serve steak rare or medium rare, and no other way Stop saying it's raw Its simply properly prepared.

Please tell m, why is it that everyone puts Mint jelly on Lamb. BLAAAAECCH I hate mint on food It is so over powering that it kills the taste of everything you are eating Now, I've tried Brandy'd Mince with it and it's wonderful Something about those Apples and Raisins makes Lamb really yummy but that Mint, OMG I don't even keep it in my fridge

I had game with a strawberry sauce at a restaurant a while ago. It was explained to me as a variation on cranberry sauce. It tasted like strawebrry jam and I just don't think meat and strawberry go well together. In a salad, I can sort of handle it, but they're really best for sweet things in my opinion.

Did the flavor of the mint stand out more since it was in the sauce longer? If so then maybe use half of what you originally used in the beginning and then the other half at the end for aesthetic purposes. So you'd get the minty flavor and the less wilted look you were going for.
