Thanks for all the other pies but Uhhhh maybe because you re not southern or maybe it s a cultural thing which I think it is but you have to do a sweet potato pie. Which I suck at making which is also why I came but I m gonna try your recipe for the pumpkin with sweet potatoes and see because we re having a competition on thanksgiving.

I love making buttermilk pie for my northern friends. Watching them taste it for the first time is always fun! Although, I have never in my life heard of adding nutmeg to a buttermilk pie - don t think it needs it.

As a kid in Mississippi we use to pronounce pecan as puck-con. But said fast. My mom is cooking Thanksgiving but i am cooking this pie for. Along with a cream cheese pound cake. Do you have a recipe fir ice cream?
