Easy and quick recipe for Garlic Cheese Bombs made from scratch. They are soft and flaky. and that gooey cheese inside worth all the effort. As holidays are knocking to our doors this recipe might be a great appetizer for this special time of the year. Ingredients Makes 18 cheese bombs 2 cups (250g) flour 1 tbsp (15g) sugar 1 1/2 tsp garlic powder 1/4 tsp salt 2 1/2 tsp (10g) baking powder 5 tbsp (70g) cold unsalted butter, cut into small cubes 3/4 cup (200g) cold buttermilk For Filling 5 oz (140g) Mozzarella For brushing the tops 2 tbsp (30g) butter 1/4 tsp salt 1 tsp fresh parsley, chopped 1 clove garlic, minced 1. Preheat oven to 400 F (200 C. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. 2. In a medium-large bowl whisk together flour, sugar, salt, baking powder and garlic powder. Add the butter cubes, and using a pastry cutter or fork cut the butter until the pieces are no bigger than peas. 3. Incorporate the cold buttermilk and knead gently to bring it together. Refrigerate the dough for 10 minutes. 4. Meanwhile cut the Mozzarella in 18 pieces. 5. Dust the working surface with flour and roll the dough into a 12x15 inch (30x40cm) rectangle. Cut in 18 pieces. 6. Place a piece of cheese in the middle of each piece of dough and wrap the dough around the cheese making sure the edges are well sealed. Roll in your hands to form a ball and place in the prepared baking sheet. 7. Bake for about 15-18 minutes until golden brown. 8. While they bake, prepare the butter mixture. Melt the butter into a small sauce pan, add garlic, parsley and salt and cook for 1 minute. Remove from heat. Brush the tops of the cheese bombs with butter mixture and serve hot.

Hi, I tried this recipe, yummy. I have some in the freezer for appetizers and I do it again for my aunties. Thanks your great and by the way I like the music. I m from a small island from Malta and sometimes I have problems with Internet but now its ok I think

Tried these today and they came out perfect Had to increase the baking time to 30 mins (probably because i used microvave convection mode instead of a conventional oven. Thank you for such a wonderful recipe Will definitely be trying more of your recipes

do u know, wikk be good if i make other shape like bread shape, put the chees into and roll the bread dhan bake it. u think it will be good. im afraid to try it, i need it for sure i have guess today. i hipe ur gonna understand me. my emglisht is poor

hi I tried my hand with this recipe, the problem was wen I wrapped the cheese in dough it tears up around cheese corners, still managed to cover it up but while baking it oozed out. can u please guide where did I go wrong and what can be done?

whenever I have tried adding garlic powder my dough just wouldn't rise so I am scared to add it now for this recipe which looks great. Please let. me know if anyone has had the same problem with using garlic powder?

thankyou. but did you use buttermilk made at home. add 1 table sp of lemon juice in 3/4 cup of milk. left few minutes. butter milk ready. can we use this home nade butter milk in this garlic cheese bombs recipe

Hi, these look greatbut I'd probably use a much more flavorful cheese like a sharp white cheddar or a nutty Swiss. Maybe even add a small dollop of fig or prune preserve. Thanks.
