I have heard from a friend who was working at a fine dining restaurant that the owner chef. When he was apprenticing. Was given a spoon of soft ball sugar, which burned his tongue and mouth. That that kind of hazing is what chefs do to each other. You did a version of that to Gennaro. Pretty cruel. and a waste of food.

I'm Mexican so I know not to mess with habanero because it's deadly, so when I saw the amount Jaime put in the sugar I literally screamed in pain! But that was quite funny to watch and the actual recipe looks quite nice! =D

I love fruit cake! So many people hate it but I love it. I love the smell because it reminds me of Christmas time at my grandmother's house. Fruit cake smells like Christmas to me.
