Jamie, you have and always will be my absolute inspiration, as a kid I started watching you when I was 8 years old when they'd play your show on Tv and I've wanted to be a chef ever since. Unfortunately that's a career I'm unable to get into, but cooking at home I take inspiration from the way you see food and view how amazing the idea of it can be to people. I was once asked from the starlight foundation if I was interested in making a wish, and without hesitation or a second thought I told them that if I could meet you and watch you cook one of your favourite dishes (preferably a long dish just to enjoy more time with you) that that's what I would've wished for. Thankyou for making me love cooking.

I have done this a bunch of times with grilling, BBQ, and sometimes just general picnicery. It is great to offer food, have someone genuinely enjoy it, and receive their compliments. I always try to repeat the favor when people offer me a meal. Not too long ago I was offered some outstanding Mexican food in a public park in the suburbs of Chicago. It was seriously one of the best meals I have ever had, and I do not speak a word of Spanish and they did not speak English, but I was profusely appreciative because the meal was so awesome (roast pork with tortillas, roast beans, some enchilada-type thing, all with salsas and tortillas. I love community experiences such as this.

Just been to Jamie's 15 at Watergate Bay. They did me a Risotto. Came covered in nuts and full of sliced lemon. Like biting in to a lemon. Worst restaurant meal I have ever had. Spoiled my Grandson's 18th birthday lunch. 15 is just a tourist trap due to its position above the beach. Locals avoid.

Foreigners always talk about pasta, but they miss all the risotti! and minestre (soups) too. Careful: italian sausage is not like the sausage you eat in a hot dog or at breakfast! It doesn't work if you try with those! Anyway the real recipe is quite different, type risotto con la salsiccia

Idk about y all but the main chefs cooking videos I watch on YouTube are marco, Jamie, and Gordon. And I know Marco Pierre white is so much more decorated than Jamie as a chef, but literally all of Jamie s dishes look so much more appetizing. Not to mention he s so much more likeable.

i mean its not uncommon for big names to arrange some beautiful moment for effect but this just seemed genuine to just ask some random shepard if he wants some food on a hill top. plus why would you arrange for a shepard with that many sheep to randomly come about

How did he dice that sausage like that? o. O Regardless this looks like the sort of beautiful evening I'd love to have. Making a meal over a campfire, the warm glow of the setting sun, not a care in the world.
