I appreciate how open minded and brave she was opening up her culture in the language of food and she does it with a smile and confidence well done. I loved it I thought the food was great, had been to Thailand myself and enjoyed it while I was there.

DAMN I miss living in Thailand. I've been contemplating trading Mexico to go back there. Both have such amazing food cultures. I remember eating son in law eggs in Bangkok, it's amazing how food provokes such amazing memories.

Funny, in Mexican cuisine, dishes called son-in-law this or that are often loaded with chilis to the point of extreme heat, I guess implying the son-in-law is either not liked or is deserving of a good practical joke. :)

Ok now she needs to show me how to hard boil an egg that still comes out slightly runny after being hard boiled and fried. Mine are always dry as dust after just one cooking process let alone two. Witchcraft.

Oh my gosh that looks fan-friggin-tastic! I got a wok for my birthday too so I'm definitely putting this on my to cook list! I love poo! Can you get that sugar and fish sauce from any Asian market?

How in the hell does anyone cook eggs to that stage of yolky goodness and still be able to get the shell off cleanly! The egg must be so jiggly and soft still. Amazing looking dish!

Thai names can be misleading when looking in English perspective but they all have meanings. Please do not make fun of the name. Poo, I love the it! My favourite dish: D

She is lovely and the dish looks good. Can you give us an update on Poo's cooking school? I remember there was a terrible fire. I hope all is well!
