Breakfast is the most important meal of the day guys. Cereals from a packet often have added sugar in them. But my granola dust recipe has no such thing - packed with fruit, oats, nuts and nutrients plus a secret flavour that your kids will love

Made a full batch of this (seems to take ages, I used a dry pan to toast everything) but jury's out - I think it's ok, but husband is suspicious and teenager will probably rebel. They already willingly eat Bircher muesli or porridge, but I thought adding a couple spoonfuls of this to milk or yog would be even quicker in the mornings, and would satisfy teenager's desire for good ol' cereal and milk - but now I'm not sure, prob have to eat it all myself. I think the orange zest was a mistake, and the coffee particles float - will raise suspicion then I'll have to confess ingredients, then all is lost!

Okay I am a high school student and no this comment has nothing to do with the video but here me out. I had no ide who you were til recently, I don't think many teens do, but someone told me that you are all about healthy eating. I am concerned with the food they are serving in the cafeteria at my school and am trying to do things like get them to grow a garden for fruits and veggies. And we started a petition so I'm not alone I was told that you would help and if that gets me to where I am trying to be at then I would love for you to. So I guess I'm asking if you could help in some way

Love this recipe! I am joyfully eating this every morning. And to be honest I love it all blended together, than eating muesli-like breakfast. The flavours are well combined and textures do affect how we taste food. Now even my grandma who cant chew much can eat this: ) I think granola dust is also a great alternative for cheesecake base (those that require crushed biscuits and butter, i think it will give loads of different flavours and take the dessert to another level. Use this as healthy sprinkles on cupcake may work as well!

Dear Nutrition team, I tried and look if the question had been asked but it doesn't seem so. I tried Jool's breakfast last week, loved it. There I've just finished a bowl of granola dust with fresh good things on top (delish. Oats are a great cereal but I am allergic to them. I usually use spelt instead but do you have any other suggestion? Spelt being pretty much (if I'm not mistaken) I'd rather try something else but I never know what to take. Help?

My fave breakfast right now are egg muffins with flax and hemp seeds and some cheese and green onions. I can make a batch on Sunday and then take them with me in the car on the way to work this way if I oversleep I can still eat. I really wish people would write up more to go recipes that are easy to eat in the car. Sure smoothies work, but they can get boring after awhile something about just drinking your food all the time that gets depressing.

Hey, Jamie & Food Tube team! I would like to revolutionize my daughter's breakfast, that is why I bought your new book. My wife, my daughter and myself we are a little overweight and we would like to reduce weight and live more healthily. I would like to make this granola dust as well, but my question is if it is OK to put coffee in there as well as she is only 7 years old. maybe you could write a comment. Thanx in advance! Lutz (from Germany)

Haha, I throw away the dust on the bottom of the cereal bag because I hate having it in my milk so this won't work for me. I do agree on the insane amounts of sugar in cereal, though. I mix together 3 types (one quite sweet with some chocolate, one not sweet enough with freeze dried fruit and some muesli) because I can't find a single one that suits me. I would stick to just the muesli but I prefer my cereal crunchy, not chewy.

Jamie I made a load of this lovely stuff the other day, had it for breakfast today, very tasty. But then I noticed in your book it says there is 32. 2g of sugar in a portion. That seems like a lot, given that you say it's an alternative to all the sugar soaked cereals. I'm sure there's a difference between sugar in cereals and natural sugar but I just wanted to check. Cheers man. Loving all the super food btw; )

HI OLIVER and anyone who could help me out. So, I love this kind of food, and I always try to eat healthy. The problem is that I live in the south of Chile. That means COLD! (central heating is not a thing here) anyway, I need to find and option for brakfast that can include oat, fruits, youghurt and so, but warm or hot. I have tried some smoothies with tea or cooffe, but I find they don't quite work. Any ideas?

This is such a fantastic idea jamie. I can't wait to try it. Cereal has become sugar in a bowl and kids don't benefit from that. I have lost 43lbs just by making changes in everything in my life. Food intake especially was something I needed to change. Food controlled my life and I took control back. Thanks for making health food fun and exciting again. Much love from Me. :)
