How to make gimbap (aka kimbap: ) food: Aah I made kimbap for the first time today! When I went to the Korean market for the ingredients, I was able to speak to the Lady working there in Korean. She was so excited to talk to me about kimbap and show me where the danmuji was!
Thank you for the recipe! I had so much fun learning more about Korean culture and the kimbap was delicious!

I roll all kinds of stuff in my seaweed, tho I learned that from Japanese rolls. Sometime even can do fancy, with rice on the outside. I liked every gimbap I tried in Korea. And every roll, even with natto, in Japan. I wish I could live between these two countries and eat this delicious food everyday.

my chinese mom refuses to go grocery shopping other than safeway or trader joe's during this pandemic so there's no way in hell i'm gonna be able to buy these ingredients bc they come from the asian store but i can just imagine already the taste

Oh it looks like a sushi roll but I like it. Almost we don't have seafood in my country. after I watch your video I'm feeling better at least we can cook kimbap which is similar to sushi

Dear Maangchi, I just made & ate my first gimbap using your recipe (substituted tofu for beef) and it was absolutely delicious. Thank you so much for teaching me. You are amazing.

You make cooking korean dishes seem easy! You're voice is very calming as well. I don't cook as much but now I think I'll consider. Thank you Maangchi!

I tried sushi once and I didn't like it because of the sweetness and vinegar in rice. But I feel like I would love gimbap! Definitely try it asap.
