Hi Maangchi i want ask u if perilla seed powder or sesame seed powder not available or not easy to find in my place, what can I use? which is easy to find in malaysia and halal. Please help me

My mom makes a very similar mushroom soup, but instead of perilla seed powder she actually grinds up rice in water to make it pasty and it gives such a wonderful thick texture to the soup
