Today I'm going to show you a delicious, easy recipe for making Korean dumplings (aka mandu: . Deliciousness of dumplings depends on the filling, and the mandu I'm showing today is made with only a few ingredients but is perfectly tasty and succulent, with a savory richness.

Maangchi Ive made these w/out tofu, and although they are delicious what can I do to make the shrimp stay intact after steaming? It seems that they break into pieces once you bite into the dumpling. More starch? I saw in another video to put raw shrimp in cold water for about an hour? I remember having dimsum and the shrimp staying in one big piece. Thank you for all your yummy videos xo

Another great recipe! I have lots of chives growing in my yard, and I like using tofu, too. Not oily at all. I folded the wrappers 3 ways and steamed and fried them. (I'm keeping the round ones for soup another day) Thank you, Maangchi-sshi!

Maangchi, hi. I am trying to reduce waste and to use things I have in the house. Could you use regular wax paper and cut it to fit the steamer, then poke holes in it? Or use lettuce or other edible leaves (that can then be composted? Thank you.

In my region in China, we also use pieces of scrambled eggs instead of tofu, which goes great with Asian chives and shrimps; thanks for the tip of having tofu. Would def try it, sounds like a great combination!

I've just bought a bambu steamer and I was afraid that if I put it directly on the pan it may burn, but since you do it like that I will try it. Thank you for your videos!
