so delicious must be good with the coconut milk. I make mine with water, first in water i simmer raisins or dried cranberries, apricots, dates, or prunes whatever i have. along with chopped walnuts and cinnamon. I then add cream of wheat and a dot of milk to cook. towards the end I add some international delight flavored creamer vanilla is my favorite to use. (or coffee mate flavors but i prefer international delight brand) it's delicious!

I also add nuts and fruit n’ sweeten with maple syrup. My nana would temper a beaten egg, add it to pot and stir until thickened like pudding for extra protein along with vanilla and a bit of butter. Now I do the same. I so enjoy your style of cooking because it’s just like my mother n’ nana’s recipes. Buen provecho!

Last time I tried Cream of wheat and Farina was back in the 70’s. I hate it
I didn’t even know it was still around. I never served it to my children now they’re grown. Rather just stick with my famous wonderful childhood Ms. Grits.

Ok. what do you know about shrimp and grits I had some at one of those breakfast places and loved it. Can you show a recipe for that. I think it shouldn't be too difficult to make but I'd like your take on it. Thank you ahead of time

I absolutely love Cream of Wheat. I think it's the nostalgia. I remember my mom making it on cold mornings while she listened to the news on CBS radio back in the 60's.

I looooovvveeeee cream of wheat! So gonna try how you did it. I live alone and hate spending 5, 00 for a box of it that’s gonna go out of date before I can use it up. Ugh.

Love cream of wheat. Doesnt molasses have iron That would be a great sweetner here. Use some ginger, cinnamon, etc to make it taste like spicy fall inspired cookies.

I’m so glad you posted this. It reminds me that they make a cream of rice and to pick up some. More shelf items available for those of us who have a gluten curse.

Thank you so muchI love cream of wheat, I put an egg on top so good. As we age, we need a lot of different food as medicine (for chronic arthritis)

Yeah that pointy had caught my eye and I made the recipe. It was very good. Thanks for tip of using the Coconut milk. My entire family enjoyed it.

I use moca mix. Now in my cream. of wheat i find out it makes it taste creamier& so rich tasting. You should give it a try

I eat mine with coffee creamer lol my dad taught me that. My grand kids love cream of wheat! I eat mine in a mug too
