I buy 2 chickens, strip off the meat and portion out in one cup portions and freeze for later use. the carcass goes into a pot with water, onions, carrots, celery and spices to make stock or bone broth. makes great chicken soup.
I buy the prepared Chicken Alfredo. Heat it up, add California blend vegetables and some extra pasta. it portions out to about 10-12 servings for about $18.

microwaves are expensive to run. Reduce cooking times by getting the next day's lunch out of the freezer the day before and defrosting it in the fridge. Then in the morning, leave it out on the counter until time to cook for lunch. This way you are cooking from room temp. not from frozen. A big saving on electricity, especially as you are doing this 7 days a week

Great video!
I love meal prepping breakfast sandwiches, my husband isn't a fan of stuffed peppers so I'll meal prep some for me to have for lunch, anytime we go to Sam's will buy 3-4 rotisserie chickens and will have 1 for dinner that night and I'll separate the others and vacuum seal the chicken for easy meals.
Can't wait to see what you come up with next.

One of my issues is that when you do a lot of reading people say Don’t eat this and don’t eat that because it has additives or that it’s not processed in a healthy facility and it will cause health problems. I feel like I’m eating healthy until I read about everything being bad for you. What is your take on this

I love breakfast sandwiches, I use turkey sausage, egg beaters, and whole grain English muffins. No cheese, for me. Also, I love the veggies mix for breakfast! I love spinach or arugula, zucchini, and onion for my eggs. Your lazy chicken lunch is perfect, too. Great video!

Bulk hamburger hack:
Cook hamburger (seasoned or plain) and drain.
Taking parchment lined baking sheet and spread cooked hamburger meat, spreading the meat out.
Freeze until crumbly.
Toss crumbly meat into to zip top bag. 1 cup is approximately 1 pound.

I appreciate these kinds of tutorials. I'm learning how to stop with the waste. It was difficult for me to transition from feeding 4 children to being an empty-nester. This way, I still kinda am cooking like I always did but with a better plan. heheheheheh

Just finished watching, gosh this was awesome, I will have to start prepping my ow breakfast sammies, the ones you make is exactly what I like, I feel sad paying $10 for a box of 4 frozen ones, never again. I'll be doing your method now: )

Great idea with the lid serving as a bowl. I'm covered in noodle juice when I'm done. When I make any spicy dish if there are left overs I always keep small bags labelled noodle topper. Makes a cheap dish even better

I am about to go get a Costco membership after having Sam’s for years. I feel like this will be better for me and you showing those veggies helped me know that it will be the right decision for me. Love these ideas.

I like bean, onion, and pepper jack burritos with sour cream, and cholula. You can bake them in foil or rub them with oil and bake on a cookie sheet if you want them crunchy. Cilantro is good too in the mix.

I love the way you did the Costco runno rush through, just real shopping. I would love it if you did this once or twice a month. Oh and on your next shopping run please let us know how much you paid!

Yum everything looks delicious and love the simplicity especially the bacon freezing idea, will Definity use that! Next time try using a pizza cutter to cut your eggs it's easy peasy!

$4. 99 is a steal. I cannot buy a whole chicken, season it, roast it and cut it up for $4. 99. They did all the work for me for almost 1/2 what it would cost me. Endless possibilities.

You terrified me when you were cutting the english muffin. Just stick a fork into the center seam on the muffin and give the fork a twist. The muffin will separate easily.

I meal prep meatball subs. Frozen meatballs, jar sauce, provolone cheese slices and sub rolls. Assemble, wrap in parchment paper and freeze. Reheating in the microwave or oven.

I'm curious about what it cost to make those 24 breakfast sandwiches. Costco is not the place to shop if you are on a budget. Entertaining but not practical.

Hello Simply mama, I made your flour tortillas recipe today and I love them. Thank you so much. I even made my husband some breakfast tacos for tomorrow!
