I retired in March of this year and my dream is to cook food and sell it. This video has inspired me to fulfill my dream. But, I don't know how to get started. Any advise from you would be appreciated. My specialty is Mexican food. I have an avocado salsa that I was selling at work, with success. Everybody loves my Chiles Rellenos (I fire roast my poblanos; so they're authentic. I also fire roast all of my chiles for my salsas. I take great pride in my cooking. I want to fulfill my dream because I love cooking, however, my passion for cooking would also be a supplemental income for my home. Any advise is welcomed!

Do it! My sister would bake things for her husband to take to school to share with the teachers and boom now she has her own business and then her husband starting taking pictures of her baked goods sending them to his friends and so she started getting asked to cater and her husband would go along and he would take pics and now he has his own side business of taking photos for all occasions and they have their full time jobs so go for it! Register your business name asap!

As a shy person I have always dreamed of moving outside my comfort zone and keep a cute booth at some grassroots casual market or outdoor gathering, somewhere for a real beginner. But it is hard to know where to start, how to organize oneself, box food up properly, even what to serve, etc. Your videos of late are really helpful to me in my little journey. Thanks!

Potato stuffed flaute. never had that. That's more like Texican pierogies. Things get regional but I thought when wrapped in corn tortilla they called taquitos. If wrapped in flour, flautes. I still don't know the difference between a tostada and a chalupa. That might be a good video idea. I love these videos. not trying to be negative. Keep em coming

Funny, I watched your video about selling food to friends and coworkers and then the other morning I drove by gas station that has an empty lot across from it and there were no less than 3 ladies selling breakfast burritos out of the back of their cars!

That looks so delicious! I live in a border city and when we can get our hands on some taquitos de papa from across the border we go hard! Lol. I love the bag tip too! I have to make these soon
Best of luck on your bakery! You'll be great!

We have a Mexican restaurant that charges outrageous prices for flautatas, $15 for only two!
Okay, let's get real. If you did not use the American cheese and cream cheese, what Mexican cheeses would you use!

I wish you the very best in your new endeavors, Anjelica! I made cupcakes for a mall bakery at home and it was a rewarding experience. Hard, but rewarding. I had a lot of fun.

What would you charge for that lunch
Perfect timing, I'm down to the last of the potatoes and was wondering what to do with them. Ok, a fun dinner for tomorrow.

If we’re considering a home business baking and/or cooking, don’t you have to get a home cottage license when your selling food to the public
