Ok so this might sound funny. but I once had to make a giant corn tortilla as well and my approach was put a pot on the ground upside down and I pressed the dough down with another pan. That way you could use the full leverage of your body!

Lol at you playing the flute with it. I find flautas SO much work due to them opening, and sometimes I accidently burn my finger in the hot oil while putting them in. I need to try that cornstarch and water trick.

Delish & can I stuff it with cheese, chopped tomatoes, red onion & avocado AND then fry it & devour it? Sour cream a must or maybe Teriyaki & Hoisen sauce.

So weird. tooo many taco shops dont even offer flautas. just rolled tacos. its not the same. when i try to order flautas they give me rolled tacos.
