Today I am making chicken and cheese stuffed flour tortillas. You can eat as is or add fresh lettuce, tomato, onion, avocado, and salsa to make a stuffed taco.
drewbster69: I still struggle with flour tortillas. I don't use lard often enough to keep it on hand so I generally use oil when I attempt tortillas, and I'm glad that's what you used here because it's encouraging to know that they do turn out fine with oil, so it's probably that I don't knead and/or rest the dough long enough. If I ever manage to (consistently) make them right, I'm definitely giving this a try! Date: 2021-07-20
