Hong Kong Street Food Tour: T-shirts: HONG KONG - Dim Sum is a food or meal you have to eat in Hong Kong, and today we’re uncovering some of the best places to eat dim sum from hole in the wall to fine dining! Huge thank you to Virginia for helping me arrange this Hong Kong food tour. Check out her videos hongkongfoodtours and her food tours: 1. Sam Hui Yaat - This small neighborhood dim sum restaurant is a local popular spot and it’s a place I always eat at when I’m in Hong Kong. They have all the classics, and you can sit and enjoy some great tea as well. Prices here range from about $2 - $4 USD per basket, so you can easily have a dim sum breakfast for under $10 USD. 2. Luk On Kui - Previously there was a teahouse in Hong Kong called Lin Heung Kui, which closed down (but might re-open. It was legendary and one of the quintessential Hong Kong food experiences - loud, confusing, delicious, and never a dull moment. Luk On Kui is almost the same, and might even be run by the same people Anyway, it’s a perfect place to eat local dim sum in Hong Kong. Our total price came to 332 HKD ($42. 44 USD, so about 10 - 20 USD per person, and so it ranks in the middle in terms of price. 3. Lung King Heen - Lung King Heen is a 2 Michelin Star restaurant at the Four Seasons Hotel in Hong Kong lead by Executive Chef, Chef Chan Yan Tak. They are famous for a number of things, especially their renowned high end dim sum and their whole abalone puff, which is amazing. It’s definitely high end, but the quality and atmosphere is spectacular. Price per person - 1, 463 HKD ($187 USD. Hope this gives you some ideas where to eat the best dim sum when you’re in Hong Kong! Follow on

Mark I watch absolutely all of your videos, and I love most of them. Just watched the Hong Kong dim sum Video and it took me back to my years in China. My wife and I love to travel and are actually coming to Bangkok this winter and really can’t wait. Like you, I am absolutely addicted to chilis and hot sauces. Thank you for everything! Your friend, Peter.

I have been following Mark eating delicious foods from country to country, city to city. Lots of these places I have visited and many places I want to go one day. Love how Mark reacts to and appreciates all culinary experiences. I really miss those holes in walls restaurants where serve the most delicious authentic dishes.

Dang. HK is soo expensive. surely there are places to get fantastic dim sum outside HK for a much more affordable price. Curious as to why HK as a destination, is expensive on everything, especially food. I thought Japan was a bit pricey. but I would say HK takes the cake on that.

This video makes me a bit upset. While in the navy, I visited Hong Kong and begged ppl to go with me for dimsum. No one would go, not knowing what it was. I finally had my first dumpling 12 yrs later at a chinese restaurant in Cambodia. It was soooo good

Hi Mark, really enjoying your HK videos! Just to let you know that Lin Heung Tea House has recently reopened in Central early last month by their former employees. However you might need to book several days in advance, hope you get the chance to try it out!

Virginia is great. I like the way she doesn't go over the top with expressing her eating pleasure experience, like other guests sometimes do as a performance for the camera. She's restrained but clearly liking the food.

Mark, man, I love your passion for food, like me. I just wish I could travel and experience the different foods and cultures like yall do. I love your videos and I wish you and your family well!

Lung King Heen was Michelin 3 stars since her opening. Down to 2 stars becoz of a fly was flying during the visit of Michelin inspector. For sure this is one of the best Chinese restaurant in the world!

Mark, I remember your first video in that restaurant that no longer exists. It was FULL, but you love places like that because that means that the food is good! Virginia is a great host. what a duo!
reply

Much better Mark. you spoke more in this video than before. Do not let another host dominate the talking in your show. You are the star of your show. Btw very good explanation Virginia
reply

Such wonderful series of videos on HK. Appreciate Mark’s enthusiasm. Btw did anyone notice Virginia’s expression every time Mark is speaking This happens in every episode.

It is not ok to press the cover of the tea cup.
It is to hot for the finer
You need to use the finer join to press the cover, since that skin is not sentsitive to hot temperature
