Surat Thani ( ) is a city in the South of Thailand, near to the Gulf of Thailand. It s known for islands, oysters, seafood, and delicious Southern Thai food. In this video we re going on an ultimate Thai street food tour in Surat Thani city. Khao Gaeng Nok Khun Tong ( ) - - An absolutely stunning Thai rice and curry stall - everything you order is superb. This is probably the best breakfast you can eat. Total price - 170 THB (5. 24 USD) Ran Kai Dao ( ) - - This restaurant serves Western Thai style breakfast food. The food is not really my style, but it is legendary and classic, and worth a visit for the ambiance. Total price - 120 THB (3. 70 USD) Yok Kheng ( ) - - This is a legendary street food noodles restaurant in Surat Thani. They offer some unique dishes, and again it s a classic restaurant that s been around for decades. Special Noodles Pork Noodles Mango Sticky Rice Price - 50 THB ( 1. 54) per bowl Ba Ya Shellfish ( ) - - Looking for a street food oysters bar? This is the place in Surat Thani. The oysters were huge and plump, the taste wasn t the best I ve had, but they were big and fun to eat - especially Thai style with all the toppings. Oyster Mussels Total price - 360 THB ( 11. 10) Ba Ya Desserts ( ) - - Finally to end this Thai street food tour of Surat Thani, we went to eat a few desserts from a desserts stall in a truck at the market. They had a huge selection! Mixed Dessert Tabtim Krob Price - 20 THB (0. 62 USD) per bowl And that completes this street food tour of Surat Thani, a great city, lots of delicious food. For sure, the rice and curry in the morning was the highlight for me

I'm always expecting him to tip over each time he does his signature move.
The pinhole shape to his mouth like he's saying oooh, the two letter drawn out sound oooh huwow, the eyes shut, and the head-roll to the right. It is an artificial reaction, but he has been doing it for so long that he probably does it naturally without thinking. Too bad it still looks put on.

I don't write comments usually, but i love your video's. I have been to the second restaurant, twice, because i thought the first visit was maybe on a bad day, but the food was tasteless, hot dogs you buy in the 7/11 fried like a 5-year old could do, and not even bothered to put a grain of salt or pepper on the food. Worthless waste of space.

How to tell if the food is amazing Mark Wiens style:
1. Takes a bite of the food
2. Smiles while closing his eyes
3. Says Huh Huh Huh Huh (still eyes closed and smiling)
4. Tilts his head a lil bit (still eyes closed)
5. Open his eyes wide open
6. Says Oh Wow!
7. Describes the food the best way he knows how
=)

I don't get it, I've read that you shouldn't eat raw oysters because you can sick and have flu-like symtoms, that they should be eaten cooked. My brother and sister in law ate a raw oyster that was in a shot drink and they both got sick the next day and threw up.

Mark, i dont know how you do it. You eat all the best foods and still keep a slim figure. Whats your workout/diet plan. Living the best life. Keep up the awesome work of spreading cultural understanding through food

Wow the amount of chili peppers Mark eats he must have an iron stomach. I just tried a little chili oil at a buffet and my lips turned red and I was on fire probably 2 hrs after.

Mark must have really big space in his stomach, as he consumes large plates of food. Mind you maybe he doesn't finish it all when the cameras aren't running.
