Chiang Mai, Thailand - We decided to go on a Thai street food Michelin Guide tour of Chiang Mai! All three of these amazing food stalls / restaurants, were featured in the 2020 Michelin Guide in Thailand, and all three were outstanding. If you have a chance to visit Chiang Mai, don t miss them, highly recommended! Guay Tiew Pet Tun Saraphi ( ) - - Located a little outside of Chiang Mai city, this braised duck restaurant is well worth making the effort to get to. Their braised duck, has an amazing herbal flavor, and is a step above many others I ve had. We ordered Rice and duck ( ) and Duck noodles (. Both were amazing, but the noodles were the highlight for me. Price - 50 THB ( 1. 60) per bowl Khanom Jeen Sanpakoi ( ( ) - - Next up on this Thai street food tour of Chiang Mai, we headed to the market for an amazing stall that s hugely popular for their Northern Thai style curry. You can either choose rice of khanom jeen rice noodles - which are most popular. Then you can choose from a variety of their different Thai curries. I got, Khanom jeen nam ngiaw (, Green curry (, and Beef curry (. Another amazing thing about this place is that the plate of curry I had was just 20 ( 0. 64) per plate! Khao Tom Yong ( ) - - Finally to finish off these amazing Thai street food Michelin Guide tour of Chiang Mai, we went to Khao Tom Yong ( ) for some Thai Chinese dishes. We ordered, Clams, chili jam (, Eggplant (, Tom yum fish (, Chayote leaves (, Snakeskin gourami salad (, White chives (. Food was delicious, and a great way to wrap up this entire day of delicious street food

Wonderful segment! Very interesting side of Chiang Mai. not the touristy side. which was delightful! Disappointed that your tag-a-long friend was in the last segment. However, you ate and commented independently which was so refreshing. although he tried the me too effect in order to add credibility to his comments. By the way, it is pronounced MISHELIN emphasizing the soft sh sound. Loved this segment and learned so much. You are the greated Food Vlogger indeed!

San Pa Khoi is not just the market's name. It's the name of the whole area, so the first market is named after the area's name. San means the edge while Pa means forest and Khoi refers to a type of citrus tree. The San Pa Khoi market actually have one of the best baked pork ribs and the best fried banana in town.
