Day 3 in Manila was the main reason we were invited to come to Manila - to speak at the Blosomex, a food blogging conference along with Anton: Antons YouTube channel: 00: 22 Breakfast at Sofitel - We woke up early and had breakfast at the hotel - one of the most amazing breakfast buffets Ive ever seen. We didnt spend too much time eating breakfast because I wanted to get back to the room to practice my presentation one more time. 1: 45 What are your fears? Take steps to overcome them. 3: 07 Conference - We decided to walk from Sofitel to Mall of Asia, which didnt look too far on the map, but it was a bit longer than it looked. It took about 30 minutes to get there, and it was really hot, and I started to sweat like crazy. Anyway, we arrived to the conference, and both Anton and I spoke. Im really happy the presentation went well. 6: 12 Jollibee Spaghetti - Jollibee is a fast food chain restaurant in the Philippines and they say the spaghetti is one of the favorite dishes of many. 8: 38 Dinner at Sofitel - It was a long day at the conference, and we headed back to the hotel and had dinner. I have a fear of public speaking since I was 16 years old during summer 2017, I tend to have a feeling of shaking, sweating, and queasiness. It was the hardest fears I have ever overcome and I need to find a way to fix it and it helps me when you say it but sometimes the fear triggers me back but I can get away from it once I watch your videos and others about overcoming fears and pursue your dream job and making money while traveling like you did. Thanks Mark for explaining to us about steps how to overcome fear and anxiety for doing any public activities that involves with speaking in stage. Keep up the good work, Mark. Safe travels

Mark: and everyone else. Public speaking is not natural or an instinct. Like most things in life, it is a skill that a person learns. The more practice you get, the better at it you will look. I have done many public speaking engagements (from small groups to hundreds) and every time, I get nervous. It is ok to be slightly nervous, because it ups your game and gets you to be at your best. I always ask myself this question, why am I doing this? The same answer is always the same, I do this because I have something important to share, and people want to hear it. Love your videos.

Mark, it is really amazing that you tasted almost all the food in different countries including Manila and also you did well in your speech so to be honest i really appreciate to share our own dishes in Philippines though i am not living there. So far i live in Vietnam but almost all the time that i have a spare time i often browse your blog. Thank you very much for your courage in doing this and i'm sure you have lots of fun mixing with different kinds of people and their culture.

You have 2. 5 million people that live for your food-travel videos. and that is b/c people LOVE you Your humor, your expressions (facial, the words you make up to describe your dish (ie: spiceous) your humor. people are drawn to you and love hearing what you have to say, Mister I have the same identical fear as you. only no one thinks those wonderful, admirable things about me. I love watching your videos I discovered it 2 yrs ago. I loved that you covered my birth country. Our spaghetti is very unique and sweet, I love it. I'm very proud of my birth country and miss it so much. The last time I was home was in 1997, so I live through watching other people's videos of my birth country.
