I use to stay around 2 years ago before I moved, ah hock oyster omelet is not as taste as they say I've tired it and personally it's not good, there another stall that sell very good oyster omelet that I love that is just down the row from the malay rice stall. This food center really has lots of good food like the braised duck rice that the people behind mark is queuing up for they start sell in the early afternoon and even before in the evening it's always sold out. There many more like the fried hokkien prawn mee (Singapore fried hokkien mee that's the stall name, rojak(that's right beside the braised duck rice. and right cross the mini Street the another food center there's a fish head steamboat that is always full and always good and there not always open some days there not open some days they are, there's one fish head steam boat in the evening in the morning they sell fish ball noodles there's always has a queue even before it starts it business till its ran out of food. Whampoa really has lots of good food I just if you have the stomach for it. markweins

So very disappointing when i specially took a cab down to this place from your recommendation Mark. they were so unfriendly/bad service. Ordered what you have ordered, but my sambal sotong isnt even on the full sides (with tentacles but only the body part and totally empty without its eggs in it, which i was looking forwarded to having it for days after watching your video on Rabiah Muslim Store. such a great disappointment. my husband even vomitted 4 times after eating it (not a lie nor a freaking joke) Bad experience and im never going to go there again. just very unlucky for me

Oh, look at all the eggs inside, and there is the eye of the squid. that'll be the moment i stand up, turn around and look for something you can eat. I don't know if i could get used to eating things like that. Perhaps it'll be the taste that'll convince me, but fore sure the first times i'd have to try to switch off my tongue's sense of touch or to try not to think about what i'm chewing on in my mouth.

Went to try the chili squid and chicken drum stick from this stall this afternoon. For taste I give it a 1 out of 10. The portions are bigger than other similar stalls in Singapore but be prepared to pay more. My plate with the squid+chicken + egg and veg was S11. 70. Yesterday at Geylang East market I ate a plate of rice with squid+mutton+ 2 veg for only S6. 00 and it taste great.

I love squid. I tried Octopus for the first time last week. Found a can at walmart (4oz) and mixed it into my stir fried rice Delicious I normally don't eat Octopus because they are so intelligent. Same reason I don't eat porpoise and whale. I notice singapore is more expensive than Thailand. But still pretty good prices. Seafood for 6. 00 is good

Can you Please do a review of McDonalds, Burger King, or KFC? I wanna see if you give their food your foodgasm faced head-tilting, eye-closing seal of approval. I enjoy your videos, but I am convinced that anything you eat gets this same approval, even my mom's cooking (yuck, you would be the only person on earth who'd enjoy it.

Just a note for visitors - I think that the stall might only be open for lunch/afternoon service. I went to Whampoa last month (after watching this video) and at 7pm, it was about to close. I did have some nice Nasi Lemak at stall #01-24 (Hi Leskmi) though - look out for the long queue
