Today I m meeting up with my friend Carlo from KalamiCebu and we re going to Kuya Simo's Larangan, where they have arranged some giant seafood to cook! They specialize in fish soups known as Linarang or Nilarang. We re going to see the entire process, and the entire feast is coming up for you right now! Kuya Simo's Larangan - First of all, a huge thank you to Kuya Simo's Larangan and Jeffrey for hosting us. They went above and beyond and got some huge local fresh catch, a giant fish, giant groupers, and giant moray eels to cook the soups for the day. We also had a couple of octopus which they made adobo octopus - one of the greatest dishes of the Philippines. After preparing the fish, they started cooking. Linarang starts with ginger and garlic and then tomatoes, tamarind for sourness, and the fresh fish. It s a delicious fish soup that eats almost like a stew because it s slightly thickened. They also specialize in dry pork adobo where giant chunks of pork are marinated and deep fried. Kuya Simo's Larangan is extremely popular and when it becomes 5 or 6 pm in the evening, people start to pour in for dinner. It was an amazing environment, packed house with so many people there to eat a local Cebu dinner.

Some of the Cebuano vlogger host use their hand on mais kanin eating it looks marumi tingnan, Mark is a very popular food vlogger and his video can be seen worldwide why show the world mashing hands on the maiskanin in a fish soup look awful Not all Filipino eat like that. Mark is very nice keep smiling and happy for the hospitality but the host guys could have shown Mark better how to eat our maiskanin without the hands.

The IUCN lists the humphead wrasse as endangered, the U. S. National Marine Fisheries Service lists it a Species of Concern, and it is listed on CITES' Appendix II. The species is now rare in its native habitat due to slow reproductive rates and diminishing spawning sites, making them vulnerable to overfishing.

Haaay that was my friend the weird eight-armed creature tastes delicious Happy New Year. I have a huge knife my grandfather passed down through the generations and make sure when you're fishing out on the boat they don't try to come get you in the water fish are unbelievably strong!

I pass by this place all the time, Simo's is located at Katipunan street Labangon Cebu city. and that guy at 5: 15 who sells ice candy, we've talked to him a few times, he walks from Labangon to Colon selling ice candy (he used to sell ngohiong, and he is a big Golden State Warriors fan.

I am disappointed that the blue big fish was caught and sold. It is under extinction and endangered marine specie in the Philippines. It is illegal to catch them coz there are only few left It is unbelievable that you guys are not aware of it. It is a shame!

I'd be worried about ciguatera with those big eels and grouper. Sad to see a big male parrot fish get killed, they are important for breeding, but trawlers don't choose what they catch, glad it went to good use, they are an excellent eating fish.

Dear Mark,
I must say, I am a little disheartened by the fact that you would trick us into watching your video by editing the colour of the fish in your thumbnail.
This isn't what I expected from you.
Sincerely,
Tim

Mark, I watch in horror as you pose with the big fish with a hump on its head. It is called a Humphead or Napoleon Wrasse and it s classy as a endangered species and illegal to kill in parts of Southeast Asia

Mark, I respect your reviews, but this aint it. we know the real food there is just a combination of calamansi and toyyu dip. Whatever you eat, these dips overpower the taste.
