What a beautiful man who has been through so much. We are an international society now and we have an obligation to care for each other and allow everyone the opportunities to thrive. Food is the most loving and blissful way we can achieve global solidarity. Stories like these and paramount to opening the eyes and hearts of those privileged enough to be born in free, well governed first world countries. It is so important that persecuted minorities are given a voice free of the mass media's dictatorial commentary, to speak honestly and openly about their experiences. Why can't all journalism be like this!

There are so many stories like this. People judge immigrants as someone lower than themselves. Get to know people for who they are. ---Become friends with people who aren-t your age. Hang out with people whose first language isn-t the same as yours. Get to know someone who doesn-t come from your social class. This is how you see the world. This is how you grow. -

This story makes me simultaneously proud and ashamed to be British. The way Roudi was treated like a criminal for being a refugee is shameful, but I'm so glad that he's been able to build a good life for himself in London. I hope we can be more welcoming and supportive of asylum seekers and maybe we'll get even more amazing food out of the deal.

Just another Kurd who infiltrated the country for work. you add sensual music and story of a supressed individual to make it meaningful and deviate us from the main truth which is: a Kurd that knowingly tried to enter the country with a fake passport for work and after he got caught he used his backup plan which is to claim he's a refugee.

Major respect! Just goes to show you do have to start somewhere and you can go from nothing to something, all these lazy bastard that were born in the UK saying there aren't any jobs, there are, but people are just to lazy to bother applying, it's hard, but everyone has to struggle at some point

Munchies, props on taking a new angle on telling stories about food and how it's shaped people's lives. This is by far my favourite series and I look forward to more great content!
