In the second, seafood-themed episode of the MUNCHIES Guide to the Basque Country, Irene has the unusual privilege of eating the animal with the largest penis relative to body size: the goose barnacle, or Devil-s Finger. She-ll get over her fear of prawns in time to chomp on a live one, and is rewarded with a taste of the best turbot in the world at Michelin-starred grill restaurant Elkano. In the Munchies Guide to the Basque Country, host Irene Peralta explores the culinary offerings of one of the world-s greatest food destinations. With over 40 Michelin-starred restaurants serving a population the size of Bucharest, the passion for gastronomy here is tangible. They-re as proud here of their home cooks as they are of their celebrity chefs, and MUNCHIES is here to discover Basque cuisine in all its strange and delicious forms-from crystallized fish scales to hake chin jelly, it promises to be a real treat. RECIPES: Goose Barnacles (Percebes)

Una verguenza de presentadora! She might have her heart in the right pIace or whatever, but it is a pitty you didnt send someone who wouId have appreciated a bit more and made some more interesting comments, because the food is amazing, and sending someone who has absoIuteIy no idea what she is doing is a perfect way to enter this amazing new worId that is basque cuisine. Un desperdicio de comida dandoseIa a una cinica

Has it been 4 years since I first watched this series? Whoaaa. This was the series that intrigued me to the Basque country. Ever since watching this I had the greatest desire to travel to these places. It's now 2019 and my girlfriend moved from South Africa to Vitoria-Gasteiz the capital of the Basque country and I frequently visit. Such an amazing place and culture!

Not trying to be too much of an ass, but the mole on this woman is just plain out hideous. Moreover, she has to be one of the most androgynous looking women I've ever seen. Physically, she literally has nothing going for her physically. She's as flat as a wooden plank.

One of the best episodes of an already fantastic series. I live in the Netherlands, where people don't care about food. Seeing the Basque love of gastronomy, so straightforward and unpretentious, makes me very happy indeed. Felicidades, Munchies! Felicitats, Irene!

The presenter expects to smell trimethylamine at a fish market. Sorry, but if this is the experience from your local food supply, you should not present anything even remotely connected to a Michelin star restaurant.
