No disrespect, thank you for letting us know how you eat it. When I pay for it and I put in my mouth, I eat it the way that it pleases my taste buds. If I decide to add whatever I want to my soup, it becomes my problem. I respect the amount of hours time and effort spent working on such a delicious bowl of food, however, how I eat is my business. Be content with the fact that I have included my whole family to eat and love your food. We'll use condiments as needed because we are from a different culture and are not able to appreciate your food at your level, so we have to adjust seasoning to suit our needs. -We are for ever grateful for your culture and your food.

I'm sorry. As a northern vietnamese person from Hanoi where the dish originated from. Yall been eating it the wrong way. We dont use bean sprouts because it dilutes the broth, we dont use any other flavoring additives instead of lime. So, as I say this. There is no right way of eating pho if you consider the fact that majority of pho is the western world is second hand pho compare the the original and there's nothing wrong with that. Everyone has their own flavor preference.

Wrong, the best way to eat is to take slice of flank, place on top of noodles, place some bean sprouts on the beef after dipping in sauces, ensure that the sauces dont touch the broth, then as u wrap the sprouts with the beef grab some noodles at the same time then u have a mini beef wrap with all the flavours in one bite while keeping the broth clean. Hands down the best way!

I've been eating pho twice a week for 3 years now at a local casino (free with comps) and this is how I've always eaten it. But don't be afraid to add to the soup, as most of the Vietnamese I see in there add Sriracha and hoisin sauce before tasting. If you eat at the same place like I do, you will know what you want after a few trips. Enjoy!

Welp turns out I-ve been doing it right actually. Doesn-t take a rocket scientist. I agree with dad, I never add hoisin or hot sauce to the broth. Defeats the purpose of the pho entirely as it masks the actual taste of the broth. The main part of the dish in my opinion that-s taken the time to get together

How I eat pho was always like: First, put a cup of ice in the soup bc its too hot for me to taste it anyway. Second, put some soy sauce and a bunch of hot sauce. Third, mix. (As an Asian, I really know the correct way to eat pho. But I-m sticking to my own style lol)

In Vietnam, I was told not to eat the noodles by itself and to use the spoon and chopsticks simultaneously to make sure I got some broth with the noodles. So I sat there feeling mildly retarded, while struggled to use utensils in both hands to eat my Pho.

I think a lot of restaurants don't use real beef to make their broth. I think they use the fake powder or beef paste with artificial beef flavour to save money. That's why I stopped eating pho even though it's my favourite dish.

I put my sauce on the side just like that too. I like to put a little bit of noodles into the spoon, I dip the spoon into the broth, I dip a piece of meat into the sauce and put it on top of the noodles and I take a big bite: -)

I was taught to eat pho, by a young Vietnamese girl i worked with. She made a dipping sauce with the hoisin, chili sauce, fish sauce, a bit of sugar and a squeeze of lime juice. Delicious! Thank you Thuen!
