remember watching a documentary where some guy was in a remote south american country, if i remember correctly, and he was offered penguin- he asked (paraphrasing from memory. --I dont know about eating - penguin- its a bit strange- what does it taste like? - - -to which the villager answered: ---don't worry, it's great - it tastes just like a mix of peacock and pelican. -

My overall critique/review of this mini documentary. It was an interesting topic to make a video about, about it was immensly dragged out. The viewers were mainly curious about if the meat that they consumed was mammoth meat or not, and many parts were unrelated to that central question. 7/10

Well this is weird but I read in an old book that Native Siberians that helped the explorers had dogs that ate the mammoth corpses. It could technically be eaten but to eat it would open the door to arcane necromancy. I'd rather eat oysters.

I saw a documentary that had a 40, 000 year old mammoth carcass dug out of permafrost in Siberia where a scientist ate some of the fresh mammoth meat! Blood was flowing from the carcass FFS!

i have ate elephant meat, it-s texture was like half-beef, half-pork(i only ate the trunk part. Taste to say, pretty bland, taste better when roasted
