Ann seems like a happy, loving person. She also seemed to be a little nervous. A lot of the time Brandon's friends had no problem talking over her. I believe that because she is so attractive, people immediately jump to nefarious conclusions. --Opening a restaurant is one of the most stressful things a person can do. Especially their first one. A business cant be as successful as Mister Jiu's with out the owner having solid support. Ann & Brandon appear to have a strong partnership. I would go as far as to say that this relationship is the backbone of Mister Jiu's success and vision.

Even if this restaurant is really good and have a good standard about their cleaning, but I personally would never enter a restaurant if see a dog or other animal in the kitchen. For me, animals don't have any place in a restaurant kitchen. Never, period. That's hygiene 101. It doesn't matter in which country you work in. Where I work, I won't even let a dog or another animal in the restaurant. First because of allergies and second animals don't belong in restaurants.

When he said chinese food has long way to go to get the respect in the world - I have to respectfully disagree. Chinese food is millennia of wonderful craftsmanship. Just because McDonald serves French Fries doesn't mean French cuisine isn't well respected. Sure the lay idea of chinese food is general tsao chicken and sweet and sour pork doesn't mean the true depth and breadth of Chinese cuisine isn't respected in the right circle.

The Chinese character for his last name is ---. Like he said -Jiu- is his grandfather's original spelling in English but some inbred moron at -immigration- probably decided to have some fun with old men Jiu when he came over as a young boy. In Mandarin it is spelled as -Zhou-. This is due to slightly different pronunciations between different dialects in China, but the Chinese character itself is one universally.

Lol everyone complaining about the dog in the kitchen when you all eat bugs and other things everyday. Anything you eat whether in a restaurant or market has bugs and the infamous -other-. The government limits the amount or % of tasty ingredients in your food. Plus y'all have fecal matter on your hands and cell phone. --TL DR Eating shit is a part of life.

Cute wife. Restaurant intro food looks OK, but his feed the friends food at the end look better. Dog in kitchen is weird. I think there are bylaws about that. His buddy the guy who ordered hot water in the bar is some kind of geeky hipster Amer-Asian guy is slightly strange. Was hoping they would go into Yuet Lee too.

Just going to break it down. Everyone in this video is awesome. People just hate that Brandon has a supportive wife who loves him and that he is asian and she is Caucasian. Knock it off with the jokes, just admit that if you work hard, be honest, and a good man - you end up winning in all aspects of life.

Im seriously considering becoming a chef, but a lot of whats held me back has been being scared of really intense restaurants and shitty people working there. but this made me feel better about the cooking world. i might just stay away from really ponsy fine dining places.

I like to imagine there's some badass story about his last name. Like his ancestor was some Tarantino - esque killer of Nazis during the WW2 and then after all the killing he wanted to start over and when asked for his name at immigration he said -I'm the Jew-.
