I spent a year in Thailand when I was in the Air Force. To give some idea of how excellent the food was, the only meal I ate on base was breakfast--all the rest were downtown, often in tiny places with swept dirt floors. That was 46 years ago, but I'll never forget the experience.

its a no from me dawg. after i saw them molded the sticky rice into a dick, yo the disrespect. i rather go to thai town and eat ORIGINAL thai dishes at half the cost then eating at some pricks restaurant who think he knows a thing or two about thai cuisine.

Speaking on behalf of the Thai people, making a dick from rice is a big NO NO (rice is considered very sacred in Thai culture, the giver of life, but the child in me makes me laugh.

Nice story about a guy with an interesting mix of friends. Also surprised he didn-t lose any fingers the way he handled that butcher knife after the zombie drink.

These dishes look like they'd taste amazing and have great ingredients. But its just too pretentious. Personally I prefer to see Matty Matheson and Action Bronson

oh wow, i went to the restaurant in the beginning years ago, barely recognized it. delicious food there. i remember meeting the lady. their khao soi was da BOMB!
