Jose Luis Perez Mendez, better known as El Primo, is king of breakfast tacos in Austin, TX. He-s been selling street tacos for over 14 years in Austin. He sells chorizo, ham, migas and bean and cheese breakfast tacos as well as traditional carne asada, al pastor and barbacaoa street tacos to his clientele in South Austin. Jose, who came from Michoacan Mexico 28 years ago to make a living in America, describes working at his father-s butcher shop as a kid and how his childhood built his strong work ethic. THIS MAN! I literally felt the joy he has through the screen. I sensed his charisma and how friendly he is! I felt like home. I-m not Mexican, my parents are Salvadoran. but for some reason, I related to him so heavily. Both my parents came here when they were in their 20-s for US to have a better life. This man is so brave. He came here with nothing and built everything. So much respect!

Mr El Primo is a true entrepreneur. a high energy honest family man with a never say die attitude. People like this is what built America. not punks like the philanderer Trump who milked their fathers and stiffed small contractors.

This man is honestly such an inspiration, our people come here with high hopes and determination to establish themselves and do something they know and love and go to work every day with a big smile and even bigger heart.
